This light is much better than the old light I was using and makes the tank look a lot brighter and clearer and the price is about right for this at £22.99 but also has a 10% discount at the moment.The inline controller also gives the option to set a timer from 3, 9 and 12hrs which when set will turn the light on and off automatically at the time you set it.It can also be dimmed and choose from a set of 3 light modes.It utilises a range of coloured LED chips to simulate sunlight which in turn improves health of fish and plants as well as being more energy efficient than the fluorescent bulbs.This arrives with suction cups and can be installed underwater or above.Maintenance is made easier by the wiring having plugs in the middle of the wiring for detaching for cleaning without having to remove the 3 pin UK plug adapter.I'm using this in my small 70 litre tank and the size is spot on and light is perfect for this size.Before ordering be sure to measure your lid or tank base to get the right length.

price at time of review £22.99for an underwater light its alright, yes there are much better options out there but if this is the look yout going for then this unit works.there is a decent amount of cable included though the controlls could of been better served closer to the plug, with how it is the inline controlls end up behind the aquairum most of the time unless you dont mind seeing the wire running down the side of the tank. that being said the timer function on it is rather basic yet relitivly alright and spaced out enough for options.

I have used this is my 145l Coldwater fish tank, this is a simple design which can be submersed under the water with the suction cups provided.I have had no issues of the suction giving up and the light coming away from the glass.Handy control panel on the wire itself which works well.Only reason for removing 1* was I would have preferred a remote control to be able to change the light from my sofa like previous ones I have had in the past.

I have used this light in my Pac-Man frog enclosure as it can be submerged however in this case my enclosure is humid and damp so this light is perfect as it is safe to use in a moist environment you can have the light different colours and brightnesses and can even set a timer to have it turn off! Brilliant piece of kit for any reptile or fish owner !
