Sensible Shoes Study Guide (Sensible Shoes Series)

I am doing a book study using this series. Purchased the series, guide and leader's guide. Have read the series of 4.....now savoring and lingering with the study process! The author gives deep insight for personal evaluation and growth!God is working through this book in powerful ways! Amen!

This is such an inspirational book and I am so glad I found it. Easy to read but I reread some parts again so I could tell others about what I liked or ask them what they thought. This will be another bookclub read for my next years project. The only way to really know about the book is to read it and find out how great it is. I can't wait to read the next book in this series of 4 books.

I am in a spiritual journey group with a few girl friends using this study guide after reading the books. It is wonderful! I would highly recommend the book series as well as the study guides!

This set of books are a blessing. The different ways to communicate with God are eye opening and wonderful. I wish I could by in sets for my friends. If you are struggling with faith issues, I strongly encourage reading these

Originally purchased as an audio book, I quickly feel in love with this story. A journey of faith, learning spiritual disciplines and friendship! Grab your friends and read this together.

The book that this study is based on is the best 'Christian Fiction' I've read in a long time. The characters are authentic, and going through situations women from 25-60 plus are facing. It's a book about ancient Spiritual Disciplines, which piqued my interest, so have been learning more about some of these disciplines. I like the Study because it takes you both into each woman's life situation, vignette by vignette. Then has you address what's going on in her situation. It suggests that you journal, but I've been writing right in my original 'Sensible Shoes' book, then going back to the study and answering the questions in the study book, plus commenting in my original book. It's added depth that I wanted as I explore these ancient disciplines and apply them to our 'contemporary world'.

I’ve already read this incredible book twice and planned to use the suggested questions in the back to guide my small group discussions. I ordered the study guides very last minute and it came in two days. I’m so glad I did. It’s excellent for personal use and/or for groups. Just like the book, it’s beautifully written and has depth and much to “linger” with. I highly recommend it for individuals and groups.

This book, first in a series, is wonderful. It's a novel about four women in different seasons of life. But I think most all women can relate. It was good for my soul!

An excellent book and would highly recommend it, and have done to many people. The journey of the 4 women was enjoyable to read and challenging too. The book arrived as expected.

Great book it's a book you can read over again and again and continue to get something out of it
