Grabs dirt
A little thicker than my previous mat. I have it on top of a carpet & the door does rub on it. The mat stays in place & catches a lot of dirt. Saves my carpet.

Great for homes too!
We moved to the midwest and had a hard time keeping the "weather" outside and off my floors (if you have pets, kids, or snow/rain boots you understand). The type of door mats and kitchen rugs we tried using to address this situation just wasn't cutting it. Frankly, they were too small, would slide around, would get caught, lodged, or rolled up under the door - or all of the above. Then I had a lightbulb moment when I realized every business I can think of throws these rugs down on rainy and snowy days and are used by the masses so must be effective since it's their go-to solution for this situation. So I bought it for my house. It's a game changer. It's large enough to effectively wipe your feet by walking across it (instead of rubbing your shoes back and forth on a tiny rectangle mat.) The rug tapers down to an extremely thin edge so my door can easily glad over it and it does a good job staying in place and not sliding around. Now, would I have "preferred" the style/color design to be a little less... "commercial looking"? Yes. But at this point I don't even care. It's keeping my kitchen floor clean, I'm not constantly readjusting it to its desired location, and it's proven itself to not be a tripping/slipping/fall hazard for my elderly in-laws. We're in the second cold season of owning it and have really put it to use and it still looks like it did when we got it so I have high hopes that it's actually going to hold up well for many years to come so well worth the cost to me.

FANTASTIC CAT LITTER TRAPPER AND SCRATCHING PAD
This mat was the last step in a process I designed to keep kitty litter from going all over my kitchen floor, which is next to the powder room where the litter boxes are found.First of all, I got IRIS litter boxes that were top-entry, with grooves across the top to help remove litter from kitty paws. I kept a regular litter box next to a top-entry box until they adjusted, which all three cats eventually did. This probably catches about half the litter that would be otherwise tracked into my kitchen.Secondly, I got a litter trapper mat that pretty much covers every inch of the powder room floor. I chose an iPrimio Jumbo mat and it is fantastic. I had a previous mat that was really too small, plus one of my cats decided to pee on it when I forgot to clean the litter boxes. It was impossible to clean both the mesh and the bottom layer and the smell just lingered. The iPrimio mat opens completely up so that you can scrub the two layers separately. I stuck in a disposable puppy training pad - just to make things easier if I ever have to clean off urine. Then, thirdly this mat. I put it just outside the powder room door. It does a FANTASTIC job of keeping the remainder of the litter off my kitchen floor. It's obvious how much it catches because the white litter shows up nicely on the dark background. It IS a little difficult to vacuum out the litter: I just let the beater brush head linger over any litter a first pass didn't pick up, and it disappears. It is WELL worth the extra seconds this takes to not have to do the whole kitchen floor.FINALLY - and completely unexpectedly - my cats LOVE (!) to use the mat as a scratching pad, especially when they are super happy. It makes a hilarious sound when they use it; I'm hearing it as I write this. It raises the pile a little and I expect it MIGHT shorten the lifespan of the pad, but if so, that's a long time away. I'd get it just as a cost-effective alternative to a scratching post because it is that effective.

Very effective at cleaning shoes
Great shoe cleaner in very low profile so it’s less tripping hazard for older folks like us

Great quality and craftsmanship
Bought this for a commercial space and there was a rubber border around all the edges . Waterproof against heavy snow and salt and really great in gripping the marble floors underneath.

Good industrial quality and can fit in residential decor
Great rug for the entry way. Rubber backing means water wont soak through to the floor underneath. Taking away one star due to the rubber edges. They could have been made smaller so the rug would fit better in a home setting (versus a business setting). I am planning on trimming the rubber edges to make it fit better with the decor. Am planning on buying another one.

Well made!
Wonderful entry way rug for my new flooring. It holds the dirt well, yet it's a little tricky to clean as even holding it in the air & shaking it does not remove all the crud. Vacuuming & sweeping helps. Rug is well made. I bought it after putting in vinyl plank flooring, but due to the rubber backing on the rug, I'm not sure it will protect the flooring from damage from the rubber. Had to buy another product to put between the rug and the floor. Please let me know if the rubber backing on the rug is safe for vinyl plank flooring.

Just okay…
The color is good. Easy to vacuum. However, I cannot get all the rubber edges to lay flat. I’ve put weight on them, but they still curl.

Great size carpet for your home entrance.
This carpet is great for your home entrance. It protects your floors for mess you bring it. The quality is superb. It feels like it can withstand the Canadian winters very well. The only issue I have with it is that it collects a lot of dirt and debris that it's so hard to clean the carpet. My V10 Dyson can't even clean it fully so there's always dirt or dust shown on the carpet after I vacuum it.

Good value
Had it over a year, one Canadian winter it takes a beating and looks new so far. To the people complaining about curls use a blow dryer or heat gun to smooth them out. Would buy again.
