Before I bought this gate, we used to pile a chair, pillows, and blankets up against our bedroom door each night before bed so that our cuddly cats would not scratch at the door and wake us up. It was ridiculous, an eyesore, and a pain in the butt. But now, life is much better thanks to this gate! I am so pleased with how it retracts and is virtually unnoticeable during the day. It is made of a sturdy mesh material that the cats have put their claws into, but not damaged at all. The gate automatically locks after 10 seconds or so, so even when the kitties push against it, it stays firm in place. It also goes almost all the way down to the floor, which we are grateful for, so they can't reach their cute, lil paws underneath, but it is tall/short enough for me (a 5'3 person) to step over if I need to in the middle of the night. Installation was smooth with clear instructions and it seems like it can be versatile to work in a variety of different locations as long as you can drill 4 screws into the material on each side. We have ours drilled into a wall and a kitchen cabinet and it is doing great. I didn't know what we were missing out on until we bought this!

Really glad I found this gate, all the others I’ve tried ended up not fitting where I needed it the most. The Likzest retractable gate has proved to be most sufficient, fits perfectly at the top of my stairwell. It most certainly keeps the animals from getting through very well. It’s nice because they don’t/can’t try jumping over; to tall for them from the steps.I love it most because it prohibits our 1 year old from getting curious. It holds up very nicely when he decides to get close to the stairs. I was a bit hesitant at first, but noticed that the mesh does have a tad bit of play, even when locked, that it will still hold tightly and prevent any kind of accidents from happening. The install was actually quite easy, nothing too difficult, and pretty quick. Only thing that was slightly tough was ensuring that it was even on both sides. Final result turned out wonderful, very pleased with the purchase and the quality of the product.

We love this new addition. It doesn't add bulk to the wall like other baby gates installed which is nice. We have the same amount of room to walk through as before so we love that. The video on amazon helped so much with the install. Overall, it is very easy to use once you get the hang of it a couple of times. It has successfully kept the kids and dog out of the kitchen/trash. We love the sleep look of the grey color, sturdiness, ease of use and auto-lock function after 20 seconds.

The media could not be loaded.  I really wanted a gate to keep my baby from going upstairs but that wouldn’t be too intrusive when not in use. I love that this is adhesive so we didn’t need to put holes in our stair railing. It also made it easy to install. This gate gets the job done while keeping the aesthetic in our home. We did have an older kid visiting who was able to pull one of the adhesive latches off so just be careful if kids are playing with the gate.
