Does extremely well for jewelry
Does extremely well for projects that require a high, steady temp, like silver soldering and lead free jewelry soldering. I make bezels with mine and I absolutely adore it. I burned through 5 trying to find one I liked and this one is still going. Also helped to use tip tinner. 👍🏻 10/10 would absolutely recommend. 💯

Extreme novice, 1st time needing to use a soldering kit
I have screwed up a lot but this is a solid product. Easy to clean as long as you watch a few videos. I understand the concept but I'm not good at the control. The temperature is on point but I don't know what temperature to use when I'm actually trying to fix a product.Product literally comes with everything you need to start. I'm sure this would be a great product for people who already know what they're doing, But it's pretty simplified if you have the basic idea. I guess the more you fail the more you learn. It's not the product, it's the user. I really do enjoy this product. There are many videos online about this particular product and how to use it. But still it takes some time to acclimate to the whole soldering experience. I feel it's a great product to learn from. Lots of trial-and-error, but im having fun learning

One thing I think it needed which I have separately if I can put it back together I'm disabled and I shake a lot it helps so much with that that maybe if I had a clip or something out front with a magnifying glass I do a lot better than I used to
