(Not a big deal if you have boxes of them squirreled away like me.) * Wide angle not great for some applications so you will need to fabricate or obtain a reflector. * The ends have custom plugs that only works with the included wire, so you can't add a different kind of light in the chain easily like you can with some other shop-lights.I bought one to get my basil growing and it worked well for that. An actual grow light might do a bit better but this is a budget alternative that works fine. I put the second behind my work-at-home monitor to reflect off the wall as ambient light and it's really helped my S.A.D. symptoms. I liked the first two so much I got another set and put one in as under cabinet lighting for the kitchen counter in a dark part of the kitchen. Now there is plenty of light and I don't have to angle my body to let light in to see stuff. I had to make sure it was far enough back not to be in regular sight lines in the kitchen to avoid being blinded.

Less watts, light weight, easy installation, and great price. Replaced four, four foot florescent lights on my garage ceiling. These two foot LED lights are much brighter then my old ones. Excellent lights.

The storage area in the back of our windowless garage was like a black hole for storage. These light strips were easy to install and now it’s the bright spot in the garage. Made the area great for storage and can even work under the car hood without a flash light.

These lights are great. Super bright and way easy to install if you have an outlet nearby. They are very versatile, you can set them up as individual lights, chain link them together, etc. They come with an extra cord and cable ends. I used 2 to light up the inside of our pantry, running the cable through a wall to an outlet and several more in the barn where we have power via a long extension cord. I have noticed that sometimes there is a very brief flicker from one of them. Not sure if this is a sign of imminent failure but it hasn't been a problem. I will update his review if any problems arise.

Bought two sets over a year ago. Recently turned on one pair and heard a pop, and one bar is dead. Bought another set and replaced that bar (running in pairs). A month later the other in that pair went dim - saw 4 led's out and the others dim. The other 4 bars are still working, so who knows. They are easy to install and provide a lot of light for my basement shop, but.

I used LED strip lights meant for aquarium plants and they worked fine, but when I replaced those with these my succulents and cacti started blooming, and growth improved noticeably. Lightweight and easy to mount.
