Great dice and cool transport case
If you play table top games that require dice... these are as good as it gets. The unique shape is perfect for adding unique flare to your set up. They come in a padded, magnetic case, and really are a great statement piece. You do have to learn how to read them, but once you get it they are simply fantastic.

great idea but hard to read
This item presents beautifully. However, since the numbers are essentially the same color as the shiny metal and small, they are very difficult to read. Plus the way the correct top number displays it falls naturally upside down so on top of trying to read small same color number you're reading them upside down too. The alternative is to pick it up and turn it around hoping you don't lose track of which one was actually on top. I attempted to change the color of the numbers but was unable to only touch the color to the number and ended up with a bit of a mess. Trying to determine which dice is an 8, 6, or 10 is difficult to do quickly. If you are playing in a darker room, you would have to use your phone to try and see the numbers. As a display piece of a beautiful design, they are quite handsome to look at, but not something I will actually end up playing with.

Super neat but hard to read
I saw these here and fell in love. Between the elven-like design and the really nice wooden box they came in, I think they're ideal for an elven character if you're looking for themed dice. However, when I got them, I found them really hard to read the numbers of on most of them. I thought about coloring them myself, but I'm not sure what wouldn't rub off on metal. Still very satisfied with purchase and suggest for collectors and those who play elven characters!

Look really cool, a pain to read the numbers
These dice are unique, cool looking, and roll really nice. But, during game play, they're a pain to figure out the actual number, especially if the rolling surface isn't completely level.

Unique dice for a distinctive presence at the gaming table
I bought these for my adult daughter because she had plenty of "normal" polyhedral dice, so I wanted to give her something distinctive, and these hit the mark spot on. The wooden case is very well made and has magnets to keep it closed, and the look on her face when she opened the case and first saw the dice was priceless. These are metal dice, and though they are hollow they are quite weighty and have a good feel when rolling them. They won't go flying off the table at high speeds like cheap, light plastic dice. They also make a very interesting sound when rolled, especially when rolling two (such as 2d10 for a percentile roll) and they hit each other. These are quite sturdy, and are sized such that the work well with your average dice tower. These are beautiful dice that appear to roll fairly. Learning to read them takes a little work, but once you get it it's easy enough. These are a great gift, and I'm sure other people at my daughter's gaming table will be quietly jealous of her exotic dice.

Beware of potential splinter injuries from wooden box
The dice themselves are wonderful, although they are slightly smaller than I expected. The wooden box, however, does not have hinges, so the lid does not stay on very well unless you wrap rubber bands around each end. Additionally, the top edges of the wooden box have a lot of splinters, so you may need to do some sanding to prevent the box from accidentally hurting anyone! I am in the process of trying to find hinges and a clasp to attach the lid of the box to the main compartment but so far have not been able to find any that are small enough. Creating my own hinges by cutting rectangles of thin leather to attach with uber-mini screws and using a glue-on mini clasp may be the avenue I will end up taking... or possibly I might just create an appropriate long, narrow velvet drawstring bag to store the box in when I don't want the lid to be able to fall off.

Lovely dice, though a bit hard to read.
I received these dice as a gift and am in love with them. They are a tad difficult to read, but I'm slowly getting used to them. The box itself had a few splinters, but they came off on their own. The dice themselves are small, but have a nice weight to them regardless. It was difficult at first to tell which die was which, but that is easy to move past. They do make a fantastic sound when you shake them. For the more superstitious of players, the d20 did roll abysmally when testing them before their first use in a game. However, it seems I got the "bad rolls" out, and they are (now) well-balanced and serve me well :)Overall, I am quite happy with them!
