Broke on 3rd use
One of the arms broke right where it goes over the ring. Appears to be made out of pot metal, not tool steel

Excellent design and functionality
I found this tool out of need and research on YouTube. It was invaluable to remove the rear brake drum on my 1970 VW bus. The video showed how it works but it did not show exactly how to attach the puller arms to the doughnut hub. After careful examination I learned what the notch on the hub ring is for. Also, since the puller is attached by a lug nut it is very important to tighten these firmly since it will be pulling on these threads.

Excellent tool and value for vintage auto use
Worked great for my very rusted '40 Ford pickup drums. No need to spend an hour with a torch and crowbar. The drums came off easily and I was able to simply turn the tool by hand, no need to use a hammer.

Good Product for the Money
This is a good product for the money...I almost didn't purchase it from some of the negative reviews, but the truth is it's just a tool...you still have to apply heat, penetrating oil, gradual pressure and patience for the tool to do its job properly. It's not a device to simply be hooked up and whacked on with a hammer until "something" gives...and when you consider the condition of most hubs requiring removal, rust, grime and time are usually stronger than a lot of new tools. Good tool for the price...does the job if employed properly. With that said if you do want to buy a hub puller that you can just hook up and whack on....they're out there...they just cost 2 to 3 times as much.

Worked perfectly
I had a hub and drum brake on my 1962 F100 that had rusted in place (35 years parked in a field will do that...) I tried heating and cooling the hub, impact and general brute force through leverage. Nothing worked. Within a few minutes of having installed this tool the hub was free and I was ready to start the rebuild process. Would recommend this tool for sure.

Hub puller not strong enough to pull hub
I had froze up hubs on my 69 Jeep I used this to try to pull the hubs off it says you Sledgehammer or impact wrench well I used my impact wrench and it fed the arm on the Polar it's not strong enough if your drums are really stuck on there it won't pull them off probably
