I used it in my pond filter. Exact replacement. it's been months and it still works..

I went out of town for a while and my pond tender told me I would have to clean the pond when I returned. He didn’t tell me I had green water and I assumed he was speaking about the filter. Well the water was green from floating algae as the bulb had burned out in the clarifier while I was gone. Fortunately it wasn’t pea soup but it was quite green. The UV clarifier manufacturer recommends changing the bulb at 9 months and I had just reached that time. Thankfully Amazon has these bulbs and I received them the day after I ordered them. It was a quick remove and replace. The pond filter was also cleaned and once the water clears I’ll clean them again. Probably in about 2 more days as it’s improved about 30% in this first full day of use. If your bulbs were damaged when they arrived it’s most likely not the vendors fault as the padding in the shipping box was less than adequate. I’m lucky mine were in good shape.

Bought but never got to use the pump broke before they came.

This replacement bulb is excellent. Fit the filter just right and helped clear the cloudy water in the aquarium tank. Love this filter.
