This is just beautiful! I admit I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews, about rust on the bottom or other imperfections ... nothing to worry about here, and it's just the right size. So glad that I didn't pass up this little gem.

I bought this to put on my dresser but instead I am using this on my nightstand. It’s the perfect size. I use it to keep my nail trimmers, fan remote, pocket knife, and carmex out of sight. It’s lined with a deep maroon velvet type cloth. The box isn’t padded but who really needs it to be? The hinges are solid and sturdy. There is no clasp for holding it closed.

I wanted a small gold jewelry box to hold my earrings and I love this one. It has the vintage look, it’s not too large, but it is very sturdy. I love the vintage look and feel.

This is a nice little antique piece, but it’s a bit small. You wouldn’t be able to put much in here, maybe a few things. But it’s a nice little heavy piece that looks antique.
