Good readability. Can adjust brightness. If using on powered mode, the clock does not retain settings and even the timer. It is like setting up the clock again if you unplug it. When on battery, those things are retained. They can invest a bit more on the user manual :-). Currently it is one small page. Some people might find it difficult to understand the instructions.

Put this on the TV console so it would be easy to see the time. We have someone in the house with AMD so detail, especially at low light levels is difficult for them. This is large and bright enough for them to easily be seen. They are very happy with this.Only downside is that it is a little difficult to get the time set. This is a common problem with most clocks though so this one is no different than most. You really need to pay attention to the instructions on how to do so and like all others, it is a cryptic combination of button pushes on muli-purpose buttons. Not sure why setting time on a clock has to be so difficult, but seems like it has been that way ever since the VCR. Speaking of which, this has a compartment for batteries as well as the USB power cord. So if it loses power, the batteries take over until power is restored. A VERY nice feature. Also, you do need to supply your own USB power cube, but I have a bunch of these anyway so it was not a big deal for me. You may not have one readily available to use for this purpose on a permanent basis and if that is the case, get yourself an inexpensive USB cube here on Amazon to go with this. Overall, we love this clock. Digits are a great height and the white on black contrast is perfect for our needs.

The clock prefers and defaults to a 24 hour (military) time despite many efforts to set it to what we use in the US. I have tried and tried to get it to the 12 hour time and every time I think I've got it, once it passes 12 o'clock we start with the 13, 14, etc. requiring math to figure out the time. Too much trouble and too much frustration trying to get it to work and the instructions are useless.

Difficult to operate. Must set time with buttons on back of clock. I kept setting military time which is not my choice. Finally have the correct time after putting aside for some time and then going back to it with determination. I like the size of numbers which are very visible across the room. The time does not stay on continuously which I would prefer. It was described in purchase description but I only paid attention to the large numbers. Have used a while - it’s good. 👍🏾

This is a great, inexpensive clock! The numbers are large and easy to read, and the night mode dimming is a nice feature as well. The PM light is a bit small in the top left corner, but serves its purpose well enough. I found the blinking time separator : a bit distracting, and covered it with black electrical tape as there is no option to turn it off.Overall, a pretty great led clock at a great price!

This was exactly what we needed for an AV rack. Brightness can be turned down to a reasonable level and it is very readable from a way off. The programming instructions were tiny, but accurate and easy to follow. I have no idea what the alarm sound like, do not intend to use it.UPDATE: I dropped my review from 5 to 2 stars. It does work and is easy to read, but lately has been running slow, seems to be losing about a minute a month. Unfortunately it began running slow after my return period was over. If you do not mind resetting the time a couple times a month it is OK, but as a set and forget, it will not be a good choice. This is by far the most inaccurate clock I own.

super visibility. we bought multiple for different areas of the house. recommend having a usb outlet because they stay on when plugged in. when on batteries they turn off the display until they are moved.
