I have not installed them yet but they are solid and look well. They also look easy to install.

These rails are pretty easy to install, though you will need a drill and maybe an impact driver if driving screws into studs. The mounting screws provided are a little short for many applications, I'd recommend using longer construction style screws.

I installed this for my elderly mother to get up my front steps. It was nice that I did not have to drill into the concrete to install it and it seems very solid. She is short so I was able to install it at just the height she preferred. She was very pleased and enjoyed using it.I doctor star because the heads of the screws included seemed to strip really easily. There are 3 pairs of holes on the railing and it is difficult to use the center ones because of their location. I ended up stripping the heads before I got the screws tight even though I had drilled pilot holes. It seems fine because the other two pair held well. Otherwise it seems solid and well constructed.

My husband just returned home after his hospital stay and needed support because of being weak. going out into our garage their was no railing at the step. This was a great rail for the space. Loved it and it is very sturdy.

The product came in as promised. However, I noticed that the arms that are welded to metal plate was bent. I was going to return it and get a new one but I was able to take a hammer and board to bend it back in place. It came in with 6 screws and plastic anchors for each arm…ridiculous if someone is placing all their weight. I had to drill three holes down the middle using lag bolts to ensure safety. A lot of work for the average homeowner.

We have 3 steps down to the garage floor and mounted these on either side of the steps. They are shipped with screws and anchors to be used on a concrete wall. They looked a little small to me. Since I mounted them on a sheet rocked stud wall, I purchased some larger and longer screws to ensure a strong connection to the studs. They extend far enough to provide stability up and down the steps without interferring with the walk space in the garage. Since they have round ends, there are no sharp ends to run into, and two levels of rails for different height people.

They look great and seem sturdy. Just what I needed for the 3 steps going into my garage. I mounted them to a stud so I needed longer screws.
