Ok so first off if you need 4 of these you probably have a torx driver, and if you don't already you should probably find someone who knows what they're doing.The ports worked great for me. I'm a repair tech and use the bottom heater on my rework station and hot air to finish the lift. Tin the pins lightly and use plenty of flux. No need to clean the board so long as there's no bridges on the pads. Lift the old and drop the new one. Pull the port away from the board and upwards at a very slight angle until the solder cools enough to hold it in place. Use some needle nose to hold it. Clean with Iso and toothbrush. Done deal.I also use a scope to inspect but a jewelers loupe works just as good.

All 4 HDMI ports came in a single bag. Amazingly only one had pin damage. I was able to bend the pins back and use it, and it seems to work fine.

The HDMI ports sent were so-so. Two of them that I tested were offcenter by about the width of a single pin. Which is not much when you are just looking at them, but when actually soldering them to the pads on the motherboard, that is a MASSIVE amount of variance to work with. Fortunately for me the other 2 were not AS offcenter and could be adjusted to work. This isn't really an acceptable solution considering these are supposed to be a direct fit and should have some type of quality control checking. The tool sent is not centered properly so is a little awkward when used, but it's nice to have a security torx bit to use instead of having to fight the security screws when disassembling.In the end they worked however, but I am not pleased that 2 of them are essentially worthless.

The ports fit perfectly on the PS4 I was working on, and they seem sturdier than the original port. After the repair, the video output works perfectly. The included screwdriver is able to remove all the necessary screws, except for a few Philips head screws. Be aware that you will need a hot air rework station and fine-tip soldering iron to install this connector.

Checked to see if these could be used for the slim and they can’t be or they’ll end up like this. Typically I don’t write reviews but after working on this thing for an hour just to see this being the result….very disappointing

Replacing a PS4 hdmi port is an absolute pain and not for those without experience but after a long fought battle with the machine I eventually replaced its hdmi port with one of these and it worked beautifully so these parts do as they are meant to.

All four were fine, I'm a Repair​ tech, I tried to use the heat gun, but I didnwant to put too much heat on the board, used the solder sucker and wick, yes I had to add more solder on the ground mounting holes, pain in the butt getting the connector out, not easy ,without the special tools. Be careful when you take the fan connector off, 3 wires, pull up the connector, not the direccion of the wires, you will break the connector, but if it's an older ps4 replace the fan too while you have it open,
