Needed to find a replacement battery for my RadRunner (or any other rad bike that uses an external battery) that wouldn't break the bank. Worked perfectly as a drop-in replacement with the existing frame attachment on my RadRunner. Provides more range and has less voltage sag than the standard Rad battery. Though I haven't opened it up to check, my mind is more at ease with the safety and quality of this battery because the listing indicates that it's built with 18650 cells from a reputable big manufacturer (LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Sanyo, etc.), which provide less risk of a cell crapping out or combusting than some unknown battery brand, which is a must for a battery of this size.My two main issues with the battery: the charger gets quite hot when charging, and the BMS does not seem up to par with Rad's batteries as it seems battery mains (52V) voltage is present at the battery's charging port at all times when the battery is active. This means if you plug in the charger without having first connected the charger to AC wall power, there will be a pretty big audible and visible spark at the charging port of the battery. Probably not good for the battery charging port's health long term, but after doing this once or twice, you quickly learn to first plug the charger into the wall before plugging the charger into the battery.

Even though there is an option for the correct voltage for your existing e-bike, be aware of the shape of the battery.

I bought this for my Rad Rover 2019. Rad does not seem to sell these batteries any longer (out of stock for a while) and when they do it's for $499. This is a more powerful battery, with LCD condition indicator, and USB charging port and IT FITS "AS IS" on to the bike! This was a relief because there are so many different types of battery and fitting brackets.I'll add to this review as I use it but so far 5*
