I miss the burn.
Don't get me wrong. These taste good. If you hanker after the old sensation. You won't get that. But they feel nice in the mouth with the texture of the lozenge. They have a mild liquorice taste that's addictive. with a not overbearing sweetness.The burn that you used to get............. Is gone.

Brilliant cough sweets - not too strong
Not a lot you can say re Victory V lozenges. I love them and easier to purchase from here as I've found not a lot of shops stock them these days. Arrived quickly after ordering.

About 30+ years ago I believe the recipe was modified making the flavour wishy washy. These modern variants are back to the original ooomph. A British classic.
