I got this for my son who's into anime. He currently has 3 swords - this one, a Demon Slayer sword, and a generic polypropylene plastic sword. His swords are not just for decoration. He really pretends to use it and I'll catch him forcing his brother to play "swords" with him LOL. When my other son doesn't want to play I'll catch him using his swords with the boxing bag lol. He says this is his 2nd favorite so I asked him to explain why, what he liked, and what he disliked. Below are his responses...Pros:Looks cool (I assume he means it's a really good replica).It's light because it's made out of foam. Since it's made out of foam it also won't damage his other sword (his Demon Slayer sword is made out of wood and some parts of the sword are already chipping).Cons:It's not sturdy. He says when he hits the boxing bag or another sword it wiggles around and bounces back and forth so he doesn't like that. That's his only con.For me as a parent I love that this is made out of foam so I know he can't hurt his brother or other people if he's playing around with it. He was casually playing with my husband with his generic polypropyleneplastic sword and he left a pretty nasty mark on my husband's arm (it almost looks like a burn mark). This sword would NOT have done that.My nephew (who is 24 and also a fan of One Piece) saw this sword when he came over for Christmas and was jealous that my son had this sword. I caught him FaceTiming his friends and taking selfies with the sword to show it off LOL. So I guess this was a hit =D

Nice, quality foam cosplay sword. Definitely more for looks than whacking your friends with, really nice sheath for carrying it around/display.

I picked this up for my son because he loves ninja style anime. When it arrived I gave it a look before I gave it to him. It's a life sized, foam bladed, copy of a katana. The detail is impressive. It has just enough weight to make it balanced and lifelike. The sheath is just as impressive. The sword also came with a little poster, which was a nice bonus. I think if your kids are into One Piece, they are going to dig this.

This is an awesome replica sword for any fan of One Piece. The sword is full sized, has some solid weight to it, and the details are beautiful. The black blade is a sturdy foam that doesn't look like foam immediately.While not as heavy as a real sword, this one is built better with better weight than other foam swords which can often be too light and easy to damage. This is not fragile Styrofoam.And yes, it does make the perfect "whoosh" sound when you swing it.I would definitely look for more from this seller next time I'm in the market for similar items (their store is pretty cool).

Ordered this for my daughter as she was looking for this to complete her One Piece cosplay. Packaged securely without issue during shipping/delivery. Plastic and lightweight, which she says makes it the perfect accessory when waking around an expo/event all day. True/realistic to anime.

When this listing said their swords are cosplay quality, they aren't kidding. If you are a One Piece fan, this could be a display piece in your home. If you are an anime cosplayer, you can buy these with no worries. I am sure they would photograph very well in addition to being the perfect touch to a cosplay costume.

The media could not be loaded. This is such a cool foam sword. Any One Piece fan would Ike this sword. Its a great starter sword nail your ready for an actual katana blade. Quite durable material that this is made of but this is to be handled with care and used as a prop mainly. Super cool.
