Big fan of Spartan cameras
I own a piece of hunting land where the cell service is very poor. Decided to test these and see how it went. Very pleased! Simple and clear instructions for set up and I’m getting crystal clear photos.

Great Camera!
I use this camera to watch my bee yard. Batteries last super long and the camera sends you pictures quickly. Works great!

Very happy with this trail camera would recommend it to anyone.
This trail camera was a breeze to setup, bing, bang, boom and it was finding the cell signal and initializing. It's been up and taking pictures for 26 days, 165 pictures total and the batteries still show at 100%. Good quality images day and night. Rain and shine it has been performing it's intended task well. Very well. Good product. Would recommend, would buy again.

Dont waste your money buy a bushnell c24 instead
EDIT:After writing this Spartan decided to waste their and mine by calling me to offer me to return the camera for a refund towards a spartan go live camera. If anything I would have appreciated a refund after all but I am not going to spend an additional couple hundred bucks on a product I am not happy with in the first place when I can buy a Bushnell that will do the same for only 100 bucks...ORIGINAL REVIEW Below:I had really high hopes in purchasing this camera... after using it for three months i came to the conclusion that I like my Bushnell V24 a lot better. Yes this one looks cool and has a cool name but it's trash and I regret spending big money on this. The field of view is very limited compared to the bigger angle on the bushnell. The app and changing settings straight up sucks. You have to wait for each change to be sent to the camera from your settings and this will only happen if the camera either is set to send updates at certain times or if it takes a picture. The trigger is extremly over sensitive and will pic up every wind movement. instead of a flat rate data plan like the bushnell it charges you 15 bucks per 500mb and will bill you every 30 days regardless if you used it or not. just overall not impressed at all.....

Nice Trail Camera
The media could not be loaded. I went with this camera because a good friend of mine swears by the company. He runs MANY of them on his property with great results. Now, having said that, let me share my experience so far with this particular camera. I've had this camera for about a month, and have just recently got it out in the woods for some pre-season recon on white tail. When I first opened the package, as others have pointed out, your SIM card will already be installed in the camera, so don't freak out if you don't immediately see it. I did grab a decent SD card and formatted easily in the unit itself. Registration is easy using the Spartan website or downloading the app. But here is where things can get dicey. Spartan offers a variety of data plans/packages for you to choose from, depending on your needs. There are basically tiers offered. The cameras can be supported by either AT&T or Verizon (or I think there is also a version that will handle both, but don't quote me on that). The reason I say it's a little dicey is because it occurred to me that I have unlimited everything through my provider already, so it didn't make sense to me to be paying for a separate plan. I could just add it to my existing plan for a couple dollars a month. I still have access to everything in the app, and so far, it has been working well. Now if I had say, 6 of these cameras, then it might be worth going with one of Spartan's plans since adding each one to my phone plan would probably be expensive. You really have to think about what works best for you. Now, if you add it to your own plan, you will have to get a SIM card from your service provider, and register it that way. Add it like you would a tablet or smart watch. The SIM that comes with the camera is only compatible with Spartan's data plans (I found out after much headaches and phone support). LolNow as to the quality of the actual camera:It is smaller and lightweight compared to some of the other brands out there, but it is by no means a micro. The 12 AA batteries this thing eats adds a bit of weight to it as well. The tethering strap that is provided is okay for smaller trees, but I found myself needing to use a much longer strap for the trees in my particular area. It has a decent camo pattern on it, but from most of the footage I've reviewed so far, deer still see it. The provided antenna picks up signal great where I have it, but stands out as it is tall and flat (wide). I did employ a security box and cable lock as well, I'm an attempt to keep potentially prying eyes and fingers out of the camera. The microphone pics up every little sound and is pretty clear. The pictures (photos) are decent on the higher quality settings as are the videos. However, I run the videos on a lower quality setting just to speed things up when being sent to my phone. The NV on this camera is okay, and does what it needs to do, but don't expect a giant field of view in pitch black.Daytime video and photos are great. Battery life so far seems pretty good, considering I had the sensitivity up. Between that and the wind blowing a few leaves around, I was getting NONSTOP notifications for like 4 hours after I hung it and drove home. I was able to change all of that remotely through the app on the phone, and now it works well. Still have almost 100% life left in the cheapo batteries I stuck in there - even with overnight temps where it's hung dropping into the high 40's - low 50's.Now you can purchase a solar panel and external battery for the Go Cam; but understand that it runs on a different voltage than the other Spartan cameras. So you're kind of stuck buying it through them if you're not electronically inclined. I am not.So in the future, I may be getting one. Just be warned they are EXPENSIVE. We'll see what happens after the first half of the season, and if it rates getting the power upgrade.I'm going to try and add some footage on here from the camera itself if I can figure it out. Which brings up another point: User InterfaceYou will absolutely need to read and re-read the manual (that apparently is only available online) to get the detailed explanation of each feature. The quick start up guide that comes with the camera is only to get you put together and powered up.After that, it's fairly simple. Navigation is easy enough through directional and the menu button.I won't say the camera itself feels robust, because it certainly doesn't. It feels like it may break in a disastrous way if dropped, so please be careful when handling it. I do not intend on proving or disproving that theory any time soon. The price for this camera is a but on the high side, but a stroll through any big box outdoor store will yield tons of other manufacturers with similar price points. So I guess go with what fits your budget. I don't intend on buying many cameras - at least not any time soon, so putting out a few more bucks for this one right now worked for me.I would say, in all this camera has worked for me (so far); and I don't have any real major complaints about it. Time will tell, and we'll see what happens at the middle or end of this season. If anything changes, I'll update as necessary.

Solid Game Camera
These cameras are the best I've used. I wish they would offer a lithium battery pack like the Tactacams do, I don't want to hook up external battery packs. They cost more than most of the popular brands, but they are worth it.

Reliable gocam
I've been using the Spartan Go Cam for a while, which has truly exceeded my expectations. The wireless connectivity is a game changer, allowing me to receive real-time photos from my favorite hunting spots. The image quality is outstanding, capturing clear and crisp photos day and night. What I love most about the GoCam is its durability. It has weathered all kinds of conditions without a hitch. Setting it up was a breeze, and the app is user-friendly. I can't recommend it enough!
