Hell, the Devil, and Karma: Secret Knowledge in Dante's Inferno

Incredible book! Samael has changed my way of thinking and being. This book was very informative talks about how all sin lies within different layers of the mind. A big help for those who are trying to change themselves and need information on what is just and unjust. What I like about Samael is that he is clear cut on the information he gives although sometimes he's just a bit repetitive, but that's his style. As I always sAy "Take what you need a disgard what you don't"

The beliefs in this text espoused by Samael Aun Weor are bizarre. I would recommend this book only for those who are interested in exploring comparative religious philosophies/mythologies. It's not true that his theories are supported by science as is stated in description. After doing a little research on Gnosticism, I would say that his interpretations are so far out of the mainstream that they could only be described as delusional fabrications. For those interested in a more positive interpretation of the Gnostic teachings, investigate the works of John Lash.

Initially I was stunned that there are only 2 reviews regarding Yes there is a Hell, Yes there is a Devil and Yes there is Karma. Due to its long repetitious title I will affectionately refer to it as HDK.I was taught to read the following books by Samael Aun Weor -1. The Great Rebellion2. Revolutionary Psychology3. Mead.NOTE: This is NOT a Samael book but he provides an exegesis (spiritual explanation)Further Note: Apart from The Great Rebellion and Revolutionary Psychology there is no "must do" with Samael.One must remember that within HDK Master Samael uses the same literary devices as Dante as his magnum opus - The Divine Comedy - and in particular Inferno.Example - Both Dante and Samael discuss the babies and young children and the fact that they have not been baptised. The "exoteric hysterics" who primarily consist of Catholics, Greek/Russian/Serbian Orthodox and Church of England all take this literally and believe young, unbaptised infants dwell nothing can be further from the truth.Allegories such as this are throughout HDK especially when it comes to Lucifer, the arch Angel Michael and Michael fighting the Dragon.Even students of gnosis are phased by HDK due to its powerful description and inference.5 Stars and a must read .....

The author's spiritual attainments permitted him to directly and personally experience the mysteries that he writes about. The universal existence of hell in all religions and Dante's Divine Comedy are clearly explained. The seven cosmos, reincarnation, eternal return, dragons, the devil, monads and essences, techniques to disintegrate ego and dozens of other interesting subjects are shared in the characteristically straightforward, somewhat old fashioned manner of all Samael Aun Weor's books. Some of the chapters are questions and answers that are verbatim transcriptions of actual conferences and seminars from the 60's and 70's.As the beneficiary of more than 20 years of the teachings of Samael Aun Weor, I can attest to his capacity to deliver power-packed information that interweaves cosmic reflections of the grandest scale into practical spiritual applications for daily life. Reading his books can be analogous to capturing a 3-D image buried inside a flat 2-D image if one is open to that experience. This capacity to capture information from higher dimensions cannot be taught, bought or copied. The conceptual information receptor of the reader allows (or doesn't allow) the literal words to trigger an inflow of non-literal information into the psyche. The word `esoteric' means `hidden' or `mysterious', which implies going beyond the literal definition of words on a page. Give it a try; you just might like it!

Bought and read this book recently and enjoyed it like many of the other SAW books. This is a great companion read for anybody who has ever read or will read Dante's Inferno. This book has a similar set up and reviews the inner circles of hell and the karma associated with it.

You want to know how the wheel of samsara, of life, of evolution and devolution works? This is the perfect book. It is set in a question and answer type scenario but is very well done. Easy to read. Made some of my knight mares make sense as well. Each of Samael's books truly expands further you gain in depth knowledge. I recommend going to gnosticteachings. org in order to learn more, as well as they offer in depth courses for free to read as well as to listen to. There are so many things from runes, tarot, Christianity of the Egyptians, Buddhism, and many others!

Brilliant! The book deals with the classical notion of what the hell is, what the devil represents, what is the difference between Satan and devil etc. The infamous hell of fire and flames of which the Catholics speak of is nothing more than religious superstition. The hell represents the other lower dimensions of nature. Clearly, the tridimensional world of Euclid is not everything. There are various superior and inferior dimensions existing outside of these three dimensions (length, width, height).The author describes his own personal experience of hell or in other words infra-dimensions of Nature. One is astonished to read about all of his the incredible adventures.I can warmly recommend it.
