Perfect to add heat.
I like to make a lot of food from scratch, my other half does not like spice (wimp) so I bought these to add to my food just before serving. They do the job of adding heat and improving the meal. 100g is a lot and will last me a while it fills a 500ml Kilner jar to about 2/3 full.

I would not say these were "extra hot", i found them quite mild, was also unaware the seller used Royal Mail, if i had known i would have ordered elsewhere, RM delivery in my area is atrocious.
