I purchased this to replace a copy which I'd foolishly sold a few years ago, when my interest in the band was waning, but with the new album, I'm interested again!Went for this as it had the CD's included too, but in a way, wish I'd gone for an original vinyl and a copy of the reissued double CD, as there is a booklet with the CD, but there isn't in this vinyl version. The CD's are just in card sleeves.How much would it have cost to sling a copy of the CD booklet in with this edition?The good thing about this reissue, is it definitely sounds clearer than the original version.

This was a great album by a great band.I’d forgotten just how good this was, and this was before the schenkers.Now its been re-mastered and got a whole added bonus part of the gigs, its even better.

This double live LP came with two CD's of bonus tracks that were not available on the original release. I literally wore the grooves off of my original copy of this amazing album! If you were fortunate enough to have seen the REAL Scorpions when they were touring the world in the '70's, then you know just how powerful their performances were. The departure of Uli Jon Roth after this record was released immediately changed the sound and direction of the following albums. Reuniting the Schenker brothers for 1979's LOVEDRIVE was genius, even though it was short lived. IMHO TOKYO TAPES and TAKEN BY FORCE are masterpieces of rock and nothing that followed ever came close to being comparable to the sound that came from this era. GANZ AUSGEZEICHNET!!!

Superbe réédition du Tokyo Tapes !! La gravure du vinyle en 180gr est plus que parfaite et le son est meilleur que la version originale en vinyle ou en cd...Un collector à avoir absolument ! Bonus livrés avec le double vinyle --> 2 cd dont 1 inédit, j'en dis pas plus !
