Limited red lobster-colored vinyl LP pressing. Continuing the reissue program of Motorhead's Chiswick albums on vinyl, What's Words Worth? is a live album recorded on 18th February 1978 at a benefit organized by Wilko Johnson to raise money to preserve some William Wordsworth manuscripts. The Rolling Stones mobile had been hired to record Chiswick labelmates the Count Bishops, but they also recorded Motorhead's set. For contractual reasons they were billed as Iron Fist & the Hordes From Hell. Includes an illustrated inner sleeve with a full note by Chiswick boss Ted Carroll.

Classic Motorhead...
It's honestly the best starting point if you're new to Lemmy and crew. They're one of those rare bands that never lost the consistency and drive of their original intent. But as a long time fan I'm always gonna prefer the earlier material. Personally I started with Overkill and moved forward but once I did backtrack to their original first recordings I was hooked in all over again. No other band can blend blues, riffs, speed, and sheer intensity like these guys. I never do track to track reviews but I will say there isn't a weak track on the entire disc. If you're a fan of the original material you'll love the new stuff. If you like the new stuff you'll love the earlier material... It's Motorhead. You can't go wrong... *****

ORANGE VINYL sound quality exceed expectations on 1978 Motorrhead bootleg.
I was surprised at the quality sound on this ORANGE VINYL Motorhead concert from 1978. No regrets here. Purchased for $10.99 March 3, 2018. Sound quality greatly exceeds expectations.

Great Little Live Album
Brilliant. This is the missing link live album. Before they showed the world what the hell Metal could be they were a rock and roll band and a bloody great one they were as well. This is the stuff from On Parole and Motorhead and it is cracking. A reviewer said the recording quality was excellent so I took a punt and they were quite right but I was a bit gutted because Lem's vox is low on the first two tracks but someone on the mixing desk finally spots this and by track 3 it is great. A short album of pure gems from the wonderful formative period.

The Original And Genuine.
Lately, and even as we speak with the iminent release of 'Better Motorhead Than Dead,' we have plenty of Live Motorhead albums to listen to. But there was a time when life was not quite so sweet, until THIS album was released. THIS is the original and genuine FIRST Motorhead Live album, so if you want to hear them at their earliest and earthiest best you'd better click for one of these; classic!
