Have used it for the first time today. I'm pleased with its performance. I must mention, however, that the description of the sausage filler tubes is incorrect. It comes with ONE and only one sausage filling tube and it's quite large. It would only take a very short length of 32mm sausage skins before refusing to go any further. This is very annoying, especially as the description has three different sizes!!

Despite not using a dishwasher as described some of the parts have lost the plating and are now unusuable as they keep gunking up. Need to see if I can get these plated somewhere properly.

I read reviews of meat grinders until it gave me a headache. I worried whether it had enough motor power compared to some that claimed over a 1000 Watts of power. But I kept coming back to the high percentage of positive reviews I read on this Sunmile meat grinder. So I bought it based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. This unit has power to spare - easily grinds frozen meat. In fact, I believe that it is best to grind meat frozen or somewhat thawed. I have a sharp butcher knife and I was able to cut the frozen center cut pork chop meat into long rectangular strips about ¾ inch on a side. I ground up a package of two very thick pork chops in only a few minutes with no effort at all. I think about half the time was picking up a new cut strip and putting it into the grinder tube. There is absolutely no concern about motor power.Cleanup takes a little time if you are serious about sanitation. I grew up on a farm a long time ago and I know you really have to be careful with raw meat. I treat raw meat like poison. And you also have to be concerned about trichinosis as a deadly serious issue. If you thoroughly cook your meat, it's not a problem. But you also have to be very concerned about where that raw meat touched your countertops or knives, etc. I don't trust my wife even though she is reasonably careful. I use boiling water after I wash everything with soap and very warm water. You do need a long bottle brush to wash inside the grinding canal. It's too long to reach with ordinary bristle brushes. After I finish cleaning, I coat everything in Canola oil to keep it from rusting and to provide some lubrication the next time I use the grinder. The directions clearly state not to put anything in the dishwasher. Some of the pieces will probably come out rusted if you do use the dishwasher.This is not such a small unit. It takes up a fair amount of cabinet storage space. I keep it assembled so it is easy to get started the next time. In the future, I plan to grind up more meat at one time to make the cleanup more worthwhile. That is what takes the most time by far. Grinding is quick and easy and you are done in minutes for small jobs.So I definitely endorse this meat grinder. I am one of more than satisfied customers. I can't say much about long term reliability, but from what I have done so far, I think it should last a very long time. I don't use it often, so it should last indefinitely.

I'm so happy with this appliance. For 17 years I'd been using a manual/crank grinder that clamps to your countertop or table. However, I was injured in 2013 at work and I am retired on disability . . . So I can no longer use the manual machine. Since it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without my Scottish Nanna's relish, I purchased this electric grinder right after I made the last relish using the manual grinder. So, new equipment this year and the final resulting relish is delicious - no I'll effects from the new machine and so easy to use right out of the box. My only guidance of note is: make sure you install the blade correctly - look at the product pictures that the manufacturer includes with the product listing! If you don't install it correctly you'll have foodstuffs backing up into the hopper. Which will also result in said foodstuffs ending up in the opening on the appliance. And since the opening is not meant to separate from the appliance unit, you'll need to go through some gyrations to clean the opening (vinegar-soaked cotton swabs). I definitely recommend this appliance - and the bonus red trim is so pretty!!

I love this grinder! It is perfect for small meat grinding jobs. I'll never buy ground beef or pork at the supermarket again! Best burgers I've ever had! Try it. Buy good cuts of meat like ribeye or sirloin and mix 50/50 with chuck. KILLER!! - Two year update - Machine is still going strong after 50+ uses. Only problem is the plastic covers over the operation buttons have disintegrated. For best results the most important thing to know is to chill the meat until ALMOST but not frozen and cut pieces to size slightly smaller than feed tube.

I got this as a Christmas present for my dad who was using a hand crank grinder. He was very excited.

After watching a few videos, i was worried that this grinder might get clogged up after some use. The grinder was packaged well and worked perfectly. I can only think of great things to say about this device. It was extremely easy to use and clean up, after i was done.

Not very sharp or powerful. A lot of stuff left inside and not get grounded especially onions. Difficult to make burgers or chicken patties.

This is a great product! It ground up my deer meat from an older doe and did wonderful. Very fast and very easy to use. Best product and a great price. We ground up our meat in 5 or six minutes then was able to cook our deer burgers and have them on the table by supper time.

This machine is awesome, I 've used it o.k. several occasions and it worked like a charm. I have recommended it to several people!!!

Got all the ingredients for deer sausage and started grinding. The description says 150 pounds per hour but the grinder didn't make in through five pounds before I could smell it burning.
