More than 90 slightly macabre Dracula designs – printed both sides of the page
The media could not be loaded. This coloring book is based on Bram Stoker's story of Dracula. There is a nice mix of architecture and character designs in the book. The designs are detailed but with only a couple of exceptions are not intricate nor do the majority of the designs have tiny spots to color. The story is reduced to a couple of sentences or paragraphs on each two page spread. It gives an interesting look into the story but you might want to pick up the book to read along with as you color. Some of the pictures are a little macabre and might not be appropriate for children without guidance from an adult.I have Chellie Carroll's coloring book on “Pride and Prejudice” and I have enjoyed coloring that book. While the subject matter is wildly different, Ms. Carroll's artwork is similarly skilled in both books. This is what I found while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium of the paper.More than 90 Storybook designs pages (including two pages of the folklore of “fangs” done in an old-fashioned design concept with an interesting font.)Designs are printed on both sides of the pagePaper is heavyweight, white, slightly smooth, and non-perforated.Sewn Binding which makes it easy to remove several pages at a time by snipping a few threads. If you remove pages in this fashion, you won't cut away essential portions of the designs.Designs merge into the binding area. Some designs spread across two pages with essential elements merging into the binding area.My copy of the book lined up well on the two-page designs with only a couple being slightly off.I could get the book to lay fairly flat by breaking (or creasing) the spine.Alcohol-based markers bleed through slightly on this paper.Water based marker, gel pens and India ink pens did not bleed through this paper or leave shadows on the back of the page.Colored pencils did well with this paper. I was able to color with light or heavy pigment, layer and blend (using a blender stick) with both oil and wax-based pencils.

Very content and delighted with this book. Love love love it.
I first saw one copy of this coloring/story book inside of a big chain store. Came to Amazon to get a new copy, not thumbed through by customers, because it was so beautiful. Meaning, the idea, the art, the little snippets of story and the fact of how classic this tale is to many. The red on the cover is metallic an well done. I absolutely love this adult coloring book and recommend to anyone who loves this story. This is what got me into Adult coloring books. Amazingly happy.

Stunning images
I tend to find coloring books a bit silly, but then I saw this one. Dracula is one of my all-time favorite stories, so I decided to take a look at it. The images are quite impressive! They are intricate, and some are stunning. I have to say there isn't a bad image in the book. It's such a lovely book that it is worth having, even if you don't intend to color in it.

Very neat artwork
This is a really neat and artistic coloring book. I love that the story is told in it as well. Helps stress relief and a good habit to have.

Beautiful and high quality
I love that bits and pieces of the story are included with the images. And the art is beautifully rendered, and neither too simple nor too complex -- it's just right for coloring. The paper quality is very good; better than most adult coloring books. I highly recommend this coloring book.

Very Relaxing
I bought this as a gift and my Huss and enjoyed it a lot. He took it with us on vacation and started working on it while we were gone.

Dracula; 'Colour the Classics'
I did not see the content before purchasing , I'm not sure I would have... This is the next book in the 'Color the Classics' series. The paper quality is fantastic, it is a creamy off white and it holds color wonderfully. It has the story on one page and an image on the other side and around the text. My complaint is with the content. The Images just don't pull me in. There are a few that I like but others are just wallpaper prints or other pictures that I just didn't really like. I'm sure others will enjoy the content a bit more than I did so I am still recommending this book!

Too precious to color
I love this coloring book. The graphics are good. I'm saving it. Not going to color it just yet.

Gut umgesetzt
