I love the size and remote So much for the price

The lamp put out good light but as soon as I put it together the threads on the pole stripped and I couldn’t tighten them

I didn't realize this was a focused light meaning it will illuminate the area directly beneath it & not much else. Its great for reading but don't get this expecting it to softly light up your entire room like I did because its not going to work. Its bright & the light has 3 shades of white so you can adjust to your preference. It has a dimmer too. Operting it is simple enough: tap your finger on the sensor on top of the light & it will power on. Tap again to change the shades of white. Hold your finger on the sensor to power off. Or theres a secondary option: the included remote control that resembles the same remote Amazon provides with a Firestick... this is why I took a star off because I'm constantly trying to use the wrong remote for the wrong item & its frustrating. I will be investing in a silicone cover for one so I can stop this in the future. If you wish to use the dimming feature, you have to use the remote. The other reason I took a star off was because mine came scratched up pretty bad on the pole, on the part that allows you to adjust the height. Overall I do like it despite it not being what I had intended it for. I would recommend if you are in need of a focused reading light.

It looks very sleek with the touch of gold mounting the fisheye bulb. I did not even use the instructions to put the lamp together. You will need 2 AAA batteries not included for the remote. The best thing about this lamp is ease of use. The myriad settings for lighting are a very dim nightlight, up to a bright white floodlight! I have the settings memorized and just use a light touch to turn on, brighten, and turn off my lamp. At my bedside this is just a very simple straightforward and reliable process. I love that I can swivel the lamp head to use it as a painting or tapestry spotlight, or I can use bright white settings and read comfortably. I think this lamp is affordable and very functional without requiring a lot of space. The lamp feels secure on the floor, not flimsy. See my oictures.

Product works just as I expected, it's a good reading lamp. Did not come with the batteries required to operate via the remote control. Luckily you can do some functions simply by touching the lamp itself, though I will admit the touch sensitivity could be better. The neck of the lamp/bulb is not movable, however the bulb itself can be angled up/down to adjust appropriately. The various lighting dimness features are a bit slow to react after pressing the buttons on the remote, though it does work as anticipated.

This projector lamp is both unique and entertaining. It serves two purposes: it can be used as a reading light, and it can also project artwork. The design really stands out and caught my eye right away.Something to keep in mind is that the lamp's height can be adjusted to a maximum of 59 inches. That's a little shorter than most floor lamps, but it doesn't take away from how useful or interesting the lamp is.There was one problem that I ran into. The lamp's light, which is shaped like a ball, came with a bunch of scratches. This was hard to ignore, even with the lamp's overall cool factor. If it wasn't for that, I would have given the lamp 5 stars.

This adds just the right amount of ambience to a smaller space and because of the small base it can fit almost anywhere. It was needed in a smaller bedroom and has been a hit. The remote control is a nice feature and eliminates having to cross the room to turn it on and off, plus being able to dim it when needed. If you need a reading lamp, or just a lamp for a little extra or soft light, this is a great choice.

I previously had a reading light that was really tiny and basically a little spotlight that lit the area directly on and around my book. It was perfect but started flickering, and there was nothing I could do to fix it, so I've been looking for a replacement ever since. After some trial and error, I finally found the perfect light with this one!This light can be used as a reading light or a spot light (you can angle it and aim it towards a wall or on a person, object, etc).My home does not have an open floor plan, so the walls really keep each room separate from the next. I wanted a light that you wouldn't really see unless you were in the same room with it. That's exactly what this light does. If you are in my kitchen, you'd have no idea this light was on unless you stepped into the reading room. It's not bothersome to anyone else in the next room (or any other room of the house, for that matter).The height of the light is adjustable, but maxes out at 59 inches, so I think it's ideal for shining onto a couch, recliner, bed, or desk. It's not mean to be a tall floor lamp that lights up the whole room (though it does cast an impressive amount of light when you aim it upwards). When I sit in my recliner and aim it towards myself, it lights up my entire lap really well, which is just what I need for reading.I love that the light is dimmable, but what really sold me on it was the fact that it has four different light temperatures, from cool white to warm white. I do a lot of my reading before bed, so I wanted a reading light that had a warm light option, and this one actually has two different warm light options. All light temperatures are dimmable so you can choose from a really dim, soft light to a bright light.The lamp includes a remote (you just need batteries) that will easily perform all of the different functions that the light offers. You can also control some of the features directly on the light. There is a circular metal piece on the top of the light that you can touch to operate the light. You touch it to turn it on, then hold your finger on it for a second to switch temperatures. The only thing I struggle with using the control directly on the light is dimming and brightening. When I hold my finger on it, it starts to dim, but when I lift my finger, it'll continue to dim until it turns off. Same thing happens when I try to brighten it. It will go all the way to the brightest setting. So unless I'm doing something wrong, I don't think you can change the brightness level directly on the lamp: I think you need the remote to do that.Even though the metal circle on the back of the lamp is not a tactile button that you can easily feel and push, the different texture of it from the rest of the lamp (which is a smooth, brushed texture) makes it easy to locate even if you are sitting below the light in a chair.As far as changing the direction of the light, you literally grab the whole little globe and angle it up or down - it pivots on the bar that goes into the back of it.My one and only complaint about the light is a cosmetic issue. The clear part of the globe (the part the light shines out of) was really scratched up, even from new. They are not deep scratches - in fact, I can't even feel them - but when the light is on, they are very visible and obviously. The scratches appear to be both on the exterior and interior of the globe. You can see this in my photos.That said, I would not let that detract you from getting this light. If you are looking for something that offers a spotlight or a small amount of light (as opposed to a larger floor lamp that lights most of the room), then this will be just right for you. I think the current price of $29.99 is just right for this lamp.
