Can be reconfigured in different ways.
This bracket can be configured in many ways other than how it's delivered. Hung our kitchen TV under a cabinet but close to the wall by moving the pivot to the centre of the attachment plate and reversing the TV plate so that I can pivot the bottom of theTV forward to get at the plugs behind. Nice.
