Doctor BABOR firming cream with retinol, anti-aging face cream for plump skin and against hyperpigmentation, medical anti-wrinkle face care, triple pro-retinol renewal cream, 1 x 50 ml

German made cream. It comes in a silver box and a silver glass jar. Both the outer of the box and the inner of the jar are safety sealed. My biggest complaint about this product is the inner foil seal only had a tiny lip to grab to remove it and the lip ripped off, in the end I just had to pierce the foil and peel it away and it was a hassle. It should come off easier and have a larger lip to grab onto, especially because it's quite possible the target market for this item, women in their 40s-70s, may have arthritis. This should also come with a scoop spoon so the cream does not get tainted with germs from fingers, but it doesn't.The listing on Amazon needs more information and photos, and in particular, the ingredients should be included in the listing but they aren't at my time of review. The ingredients and instructions are on the box and I LOVE the ingredients, so many good things and nothing I try to avoid.I use this after washing and toning my face. A lot of time with retinol, I follow with my moisturizer, however this cream has moisturizers in it, so it's a 2 in 1. Because of this, I think I can justify the price. It both smooths your skin and leaves it really soft and moisturized (I have dry skin). You don't need an additional moisturizer, this does it all. It's well tolerated by my skin, does not irritate it or cause breakouts. It's a light yellow cream with a pleasant light scent that does not last. It's not quite as thick as I would expect, but it certainly isn't runny. I highly recommend using a gua sha to work it in, it feels so good. Make sure to follow with SPF, this makes your skin sensitive to sun and doesn't have SPF in it.

This product is the fourth I've tried from Doctor Babor, with the first being Cleanformance Deep Cleansing Pads, the second being Lifting Rx Lift Serum, and the third being Refine RX Enzyme Peeling Balm. Unlike for Lifting Rx Lift Serum and Refine RX Enzyme Peeling Balm, which I rated four stars, I consider Refine Triple Pro-Retinol Renewal Cream a five star product just like Cleanformance Deep Cleansing Pads, reminiscent of my experience with Beauty Feast Pure Cell Therapy Cream which I've been using for the past year. However, I feel much more comfortable using Refine Triple Pro-Retinol Renewal Cream due to its not containing any controversial ingredients (e.g. "umbilical cord stem cells"). Another reviewer here complained about the "infuriating jar seal that came close to defeating me when I went to remove it", but I had no such issues, even though I admittedly prefer a pump bottle over a jar. This same reviewer also complained about the "unpleasant smell of the cream lingered for hours until I took a shower", and I have no idea what they're talking about. All four Doctor Babor products I've tried have been pleasant, including this one, which also happens to be offered at a significantly high discount relative to the aforementioned Beauty Feast product. Highly recommended.

Ich trage die frisch riechende leicht gelb schimmernde Creme seit 3 Wochen jeden 2. Abend auf. Morgens erscheint die Haut an den "üblichen" Stellen wie Stirn und "Zornesfalte" deutlich praller und durchfeuchteter. Nutze am Tag die Babor Hyaluron Creme (die leichte im Pumpspender) die super im Sommer und bei feuchtigkeitsarmer Haut ist. Ich habe eine eher trockene und leicht empfindliche Haut und kann beide Babor Cremes empfehlen.

If you don't mind spending a bit of cash (currently about $170), this is a nice facial cream and moisturizer. It comes in a REALLY heavy glass container so that it feels like you are getting more than the 1.7 ounces of product in the container. It's got a foil type thing that you have to puncture in order to get through the product in the jar. While that certainly seals off the product, it's not all that great after you open it, as some of it will get on the lid. An intermediate plastic layer would be nice as some other products have.This is a green cream in the jar but does not stay green at all once it is applied to your face. It has a flowery scent that is unnecessary and frankly too much for me. If I'm putting something on my face, I do not want it to smell like perfume. That's what perfume or deodorant is for.As soon as it is applied to the skin, the skin starts to feel softer, smoother and more plump almost immediately. This is a good product fort day use and works well as an overnight cream but there are others I do like better for night time application.This one tips the scales at a hefty $169.00 at the moment. For 1.7 ounces, that is on the higher side but there are plenty that cost more. At that price you have a lot of options. While this is a nice cream and makes the skin feel soft, supple and smooth, I don't think it is the product I would buy if I was going to spend $170 or so on a facial cream or moisturizer. The scent alone is enough to turn me off to this one. As long as you don't mind the scent of this you can certainly be satisfied with it but I would encourage reading reviews of other high end facial creams and moisturizers before spending that much to purchase this product.
