Five stars right off the bat, first impression. We'll see how it lasts.
This feels like a decent knife for the price. It's got a little heft and nothing's loose. The blade is tight but free. No wobble. The spring assist works. I can open and close it with one hand but it's easier to use two to close it. The blade's pretty sharp right out of the package. I cut some shavings off a maple board with it. Somebody lost theirs where I work and I played with while it was in the lost and found box till I figured out how to flip it open. Took me a while to get it and then a couple others tried it and we learned that we all flip it open a little different. I flick it with my thumbnail. Another worker does too, but a little different. And other uses the face of his thumb. But we were all impressed with how beat up it was and still working. The pocket clip was bent, the case was all scuffed up, the blade had scratches that looked like it was a pry bar once in a while. So I thought I'd buy one and see. And because now, if that other one disappears, they'll know it wasn't me.Edit: I used it for a while and still like it but it's a little overkill for work. I now prefer the Milwaukee 48-22-1903 Fastback 3 utility knife. I can flip it open easily and most of my work is box cutting, wire stripping, and opening packages. I still carry the knife when I'm doing yard chores, it's great for that. So I still give it five stars because it's still a solid easy to use tool at a good price, but I've found a better one for work.

Not "Tacticool"
I am extremely happy with this knife for several reasons.Firstly , it's hard to find a decent. Folding knife that doesn't look like it's trying to be some sort of weapon. I personally did not want to carry a pocket knife that looked in anyway threatening. It was important to me that I didn't look as if I was trying to be Rambo or something but I'm not.The legnth of the blade is short enough so that one does not run afoul of any local laws. The assisted opening feature is flawless and again, I have found no laws preventing every day carry of this knife. The blade is sick enough to stand up to abuse, sharp enough to cut through almost anything I would use it for and the bright red color helps when I have accidentally misplaced it.I personally have had no issues with the strength of the pocket clip. The knife is relatively inexpensive and, should I lose it, it won't be that big a deal.I bought one for my son and brother-in-law as well. Once they saw my knife, I saw that they really wanted it.Nothing but praise for this particular knife.

Awesome knife and great price.
I bought this knife months ago at Home Depot for $19.99. A family member loved it so I gave it to him as a gift. I went back a couple months later (I have a small collection) to buy it again and it was at $30. Needless to say I checked Amazon and it was at it's original price :)This knife is a great little knife. I personally love spring assisted opening knives and this thing flies open. Milwaukee in general is a great product and this lives up to that name...so far.Pros:- Great Red color w/ sharp Black blade.- Awesome spring assist- Great clip- Quality materialCons:I wish this knife had the thumb assist on the back of the blade instead of the side of the blade. Other than that this knife is what I thought I'd get.I'll report back down the line to update how long the blade holds up.

The new fastback is better!
I'll start with i like this one better. I have had the Milwaukee fastback for years as my pocket work knife. The old ones and the one pictured had a liner lock. The new one has a bolt lock and a notch on the back that is used for the assisted open. I was surprised with the new knife because I was expecting the old style but the new lock style makes it easier to put it away even with leather gloves on.

A very nice knife if you want to take the chance of it opening in your pocket....
Bought one of these when my buddy said that he loved his. I got it for a better price than he did so figured it was worth while. The quality of the knife itself is great. The blade is super sharp and the flick action is the quickest I've ever seen. The handle is a bit bulky and feels a little cheap (it's plastic) but it's comfortable in the hand. The only problem I've had so far is that it tends to open in my pocket. Not good when it's so darn sharp. So, for now, it's been relegated to a glove compartment knife. I have faith that it will work well when I need it but I don't really trust it in my pocket.

Mislabeled
This is a great knife which I've had before. However I didn't receive the knife. I actually received m12 product 49-24-2310. Which is a portable power unit, I believe is actually a little cheaper than the knife. I didn't return it because it's just easy for me to go grab a knife at home depot instead and keep the power unit. Package had the label which should have been on the knife package.
