I brought this as a gift. The knife is beautiful, very sharp sand durable. The handle feels great while using. It is lighter than I had expected. Will be purchasing myself one soon.

it's an incredible cleaver!
This is a BEAUTIFUL piece of metal, and I'm super happy with it - I'm so happy that I found it on Amazon, because even though I've wanted one before, I never thought I'd actually find one. It's comfortable, heavy (which is expected), sharp, and handsome. I wash all of my knives by-hand, even though it would be top-shelf dishwasher safe - I just want to maintain its integrity. I hang all of my knives on a magnetic bar above my sink, and they work are hand sharpened, as needed, this being no exception.
