I have used these several times in industrial applications to add or modify low voltage systems, they are fairly weather resistant and more so if you add in heat shrink to close off the wire side after assembly. Take the time to set your molex crimpers right and crimp the pins correctly for ease of removal later and to prevent breakage of wire strands.

I wish the size was smaller but they work really good

If you are like me and have never used this type of connector before, there are other options that, in hindsight, seem like they would be easier to use. The crimpers that have a round head with a hole in the center seem like they would be much easier to use than the type included with this kit. I kept dropping the pins or they would slide off of the ends of my wires when I would go to crimp them. The other style of crimper seems like it would do a much better job of holding the pins in place before you start to squeeze the handle.

connector kit is ok, do not have high expectations of it being like automotive connectors, over its good, just dont expect it to perform like oem connectors.

It took a little learning but I'm now sold on this product. They worked great but offering a better refined tutorial would cuz I really had to look all over to figure them out.

I bought this for a project down the road. When I got them out to use them they was missing a few connectors. The pins are junk the prongs that you crimp are often to wide for the crimper included in the kit. I will not buy these kit again or anything this company sales. The video is misleading in how easy they are to use. I would recommend buying your connectors from someone else!
