swafty 1" Diameter Barbell Collar Quick Release Dumbbell Clamps ABS Spinlock Cilps for 1 Inch Barbells Red

I bought these to replace the spinlocks on my dumbbells as the rubber "o-ring" has worn out on the spinlock. Does not work very well on threaded dumbbells. It slips with only 10 lb plates on each side. The diameter of my dumbbells does fall within the range in the description. A friend brought his smooth bar dumbbell/ barbell to try it out and it seems to works flawlessly on those and doesn't even budge when the max amount of weight is on each smooth bar dumbbell/ barbell. My guess is that the rubber inside these collars has a better grip on smooth bars then on the threaded ones.

These collars don't fit any one inch bar. They fit loosly and slide off. I have several different types of one inch bars dumbbell bars and Ivanko bars. I have some one inch lock jaw collars that hold tight to the bars. Save yourself time and the trouble of a return and the get lock jaw or ivanko compression collars.

Perfect fit & works well. They make my workout so much easier.

They work great on my 1” threaded barbell. Way better than spinning a lock nut for a solid minute
