My poor heart
The biggest question I have after reading is Jen and Amber, who hurt you that you enjoy hurting us so much? If you thought Locked Hearts stamped on your heart then buckle up my dears because this ripped my heart out, stamped on it, patched it up, put a bow on it and then gave it a kick for good measure. Please do not read this if you have not read Locked Hearts otherwise you won't fully follow the story or appreciate the emotional rollercoaster. Please also heed the trigger warnings, they are real. Even as someone who has no triggers I felt I had to pause at times.Notwithstanding the above, I will say that this is a much happier read than Locked Hearts and I am so pleased to see not only Chasity begin to have confidence in standing up for herself but also be treated better, as she should be, by her guys (side eye to one in particular who is slow to the game) and begin to get her HEA. The development and revelations about her brother, Jacob, and Grandmother, Mother Cross, were much needed after the events of last book and helped heal my heart knowing that she has people on her side. I also really enjoyed getting to know the Adam's more and their history which explains why they are the way that they are. Whilst the story telling is great the spice is even better. The wedding night is hot but the Adam scenes are just *chef kiss*The cliffy queens do it again leaving us begging for more though so be prepared for a cliff dive!

Makes you feel ALL the emotions!
The cliffhanger for the last book was brutal! This book's cliffhanger, although slightly milder, still packs a punch!Wow my mind is reeling with everything. We learn so much more from these characters in this second book. Chastity has well and truly been put through some hellish moments, but the way she bounces back even stronger is so admirable.Levi took the number one slot, for the guys, in this book. He sold me a dream and boy did he deliver. That man gave me good tingles!Ash I wanted to shake him several times. We still don't know a lot about his background and I think when we do, it will explain a lot.I'm so glad Tempest was back and I enjoyed her POV in this book. She is a fab best friend and I can't wait for her spin off book as her story sounds amazing. This series is really becoming one of my favourites and I am feral for the last remaining book in this series. I hope we don't have to wait too long for answers.

So much Emotions when reading this.
Love reading these two co authors writing. They are great at what they do.They know how to hook a audience and then sink them with an epic cliffhanger and leave you wanting to know more. This book follows on from that cliffhanger fro. The previous book and we get the answers to the questions we where left with. The roller coaster of emotions ypu go through in this book id suggest to get the tissues at the ready.Such a great story by two great authors. Don't miss this read pick up book one of Locked Promisies and then sink your teeth into book two. You won't be dissapointed.

Ooofftt! Just offftt 😯
*Why Choose*Contemporary*Multi-POV*very dark*Catholic Academy*Secret Society*established harem (4)*inc MM & some FF*mid burn 🔥*insta-attractions*damaged FMC*2/3There’s a lot unpacked in this book, we get some crucial answers in this book but most importantly Chastity starts to get her voice back!! 💪🏻After her drastic actions at the end of the last book it forces those around her to really look at her character and reassess what they’ve thought of her so far 😓Although it’s still taking time for someone in particular (😡😠) to let go of their misconceptions and paranoia! It’s great to see that some of Chase’s family is being put in their place and she really gets to say her piece! The return of Tempest although only as her bestie really helps brings Chas’ fire out and help her find her sass 😄We get a greater insight into the three boys background here and some indication of why they are the way they are, but there’s no denying they’re in love with our girl! And then there’s Levi who is just the best fit for Chas possible 🥰The only thing for me was the ending felt a bit quick…there’s a huge build up for the Adam’s (which is a bit AF scene) but then it’s over very quickly to the time jump…those last couple of chapters felt very fast paced to process 🤔Although towards the end of the book we start to see who the real enemy is and how it connects to the lost souls, but there’s definitely still more answers to be had…especially after that cliffhanger!
