These cutters work great and are a must have when following polymer clay color recipes to make custom colors!Clay color recipes are followed in PARTS of a color. It doesn’t matter what size those parts are, as along as all parts are equal in size of each color. For example, if you want to make a color like “lime green,” you might need 1 whole circle (or part) of the color yellow and only 1/8 of a circle (or part) of the color blue. These cutters make measuring the amounts needed to execute the recipe so much easier!I have used the cutters many times and they are very sturdy, and make it easy to follow a recipe that requires an amount as small as 1/8 of a color. (However, if you are following a recipe that requires an amount as small as 1/16 of a color, you can just cut the 1/8 wedge in half with a tissue blade.)I like that there are a variety of sizes. The larger cutters are helpful when I need make a large amount of a specific color, (and the smaller cutters for a small amount.)I have used these cutters more often than any other cutter I own because I’m frequently making custom colors for my projects. I have been looking for something like this for ages. Up until now, I have been forced to divide circles by hand, meaning that I had to cut them out, find the center, mark the lines, and hope that I got it right, or try it again 12 times, but this little set does it all in one fell swoop! Very pleased with my purchase, I just wish I had found it sooner.
