I like it. Perfect for my 2016 CRV. My husband doesn’t like it bc you have to be “particular with it” and it feels “flimsy”. It feels like an umbrella, but blocks sun. It’s easy to use and stores perfectly in the car door.

Fit is great, good coverage, works around the camera bump and mirror, but the ribs fall out of the pockets, particularly the ones around mirror. Handle rests 'just right' on the screen edge, keeping the shade on the window. Can be tricky to deploy - you need to pay attention and make sure the ribs go close to the window. Not for the careless or impatient.

The umbrella support sticks broke through the umbrella fabric the first time using it. Very thin material, likely doesn’t stop any UV. BAD!!

Ok, so I tried this umbrella style window shade because it was reasonably priced and is an intriguing design! Makes sense! Just open the windshield umbrella and it blocks everything! I live in Arizona and sun shades on your windshield make the difference in July of just managing the heat or literally blistering your hands as you try to drive.My husband was skeptical. I said it's worth the try!I have used it now for some weeks and had writing a positive review on my mind (especially to win the point with hubby lol) but alas.I have been very carefully using this product. I gently open it up on my windshield and carefully remove it. In these weeks, I have discovered:The handle is too heavy. It wants to pull the windshield screen away from the window somewhat. I found that I could rest the handle loop on a radio knob and it kept it in place. So that's not good. Placing and removing requires careful handling as the edges fold and buckle and I didn't want the metal umbrella arms (it is literally an umbrella shaped like your windshield) to come apart. Ok, still worth it even with the handle issue.Then I came out to drive home one day and as I gently removed it, a metal arm swung loose. Hmmm. Another few uses, another arm doesnt open well and a small hole visible.I am so sad!!! I really wanted to love this idea! It's just way, way too delicate a mechanism to be useful for very long. Makers, don't give up!! It's a super cool idea!! But it needs to be much sturdier and with a lighter weight handle. I look forward to a better version and will go back to those gawd awful circle twisty things that never comply! Ugh.

All in all works great keeps cab cooler.... But very disappointed that I have a scratch in my dash plastic now. While fitting It to the window area be careful with the handle ,where the bendable part meets the rigid part of the crome its sharp,sharp enough to gouge out my dash plastic that I now stare at pissed off.so I had to order a cover for it .gonna keep the shade but going to tape that section of the handle
