I like the beach and don't live near one, so I take beach vacations anytime I can afford to. The problem is always the beach towel. I don't really want to bring one with me--I travel carry on only all the time--but I often need them. for awhile, I just bought them when I got where I was going and left them behind, but that seemed kind of wasteful. Plus I couldn't always find them easily.Then I tried the turkish towel type for travel. Ok, I ended up with some absolutely beautiful "towels" incluind one that is so nice it decorates the back of my sofa. They are nice and absorbent, and do work, but....even though they are lighter than a terrycloth cotton towel, they are still heavier than I want. I have some small microfiber bath towels that are great, absorbent and lightweight, and worked ok on a trip to Belize, but it is bath size, not beach sized.So on my last trip to Mexico, I took this. OMG y'all, I know it is ridiculous to be this excited about a towel, but seriously, I love it. It folds down small (it comes in a pretty small package). It's lightweight. It's super absorbent. It's big enough to lay on. Sand does come off it easily (but only when it's dry). I got the tie dye/blue palm towel and really like the pattern. I also didn't mind carrying it when it was damp because it was nice and cooling. and it served me well on a scuba diving trip when my pack got very wet--all the water was absorbed by my towel!It's not as soft as some of the options above, but it performs better and is lighter, so I'm willing to go with that. And I draped it over my shoulders when it was drying and found it perfectly comfortable, and also quite comfortable to lay on.One caution--I live in a very arid climate normally, and I left it outside here one night and the poor thing got kind of dry and crispy feeling, but I got it damp again and it's fine. Note to self--store in a ziplock type bag. (I was never able to get it back into the original zipped bag in came in though!)

Very nice and big, soft it’s then so easy to pack for the beach! Sand does not stick to it at all!!

This towel is more like 'velour' than terrycloth. I had purchased a different one a while back (different supplier) which was like a thinner terrycloth. I was expecting something similar. But this one is pretty and works for what I need. It's definitely thin and easily portable.

I purchased this because my gym keeps running out of towels. I swim almost every day and can’t go without drying off . This folds up really small and was perfect for drying off after swimming. It is ultra thin and dries quickly.

Great travel item. Colors remain vibrant. Used for several days at the beach without the need to wash and remove said. Just shake it out and hang to dry.

Although it is stated in description, this is a very thin microfiber towel. The colors are vibrant, but I still bought a traditional Terry cloth beach towel to give as a gift instead of this one.

Bought this as a travel towel when we went to the islands. wasn’t sure I would always be able to take a towel from the place I was staying to the beach or elsewhere. It was compact, lightweight and dried quickly. Hung them in their mesh bag from our backpacks with a carabiner. When other towels became musty smelling these did not. Folds down so small it barely took up any room. Very absorbent. We also use them to cover up when we were on a boat in the sun which helped keep us from getting sunburned on our thighs. Another day when it was drizzly and cold out on the boat they kept us warm. These were perfect travel towels. I wish I would have bought them for all the years when we would go camping and traveling cross country-would have saved me a whole laundry basket of towels taking up the back of my vehicle. These were absolutely perfect. Brought one per person on vaca. Oh, and I tested them by washing in hot water with a white dish towel before travel to be sure-the colors do not bleed onto other things. They didn’t at all-very pleased!

I use this towel at the beach. It’s quick drying and the sand shakes off easily and fold down small. I have one in another color and it worked well so this is my second purchase. The colors are bright and have not faded with multiple washings and a lot of use over the past summer at the beach.

I bought these towel for all my grandkids for xmas. They all said great for no sand and they wrap up small for carrying in bag.

Loved this! Was lightweight enough to easily pack in my luggage and carry with me to the pool or on excursions. Dried quickly and was a definitive marker for a saved seat!!

Absorb really well. Better than I thought as they’re quite thin. Pack nicely and lovely vibrant colours.
