CloettaPlopp - Milk Chocolate Bites with Soft Toffee Filling 158g

My friend recommended these to me and I’m glad I bought them, absolutely delicious!

Since my first experience of these treats in Sweden, I've got my family addicted. A very good supporting present.

This was purchased for the juvenile side of my humour. In English, plop means pooh. It also has an onomatopoeic meaning which basically describes the sound of a solid object falling into a liquid (which probably serves to explain why it is used to describe pooh). So a plopp in my mouth therefore serves as a gruesome euphemism.The chocolate is ok, initially it tastes of dog chocolate but it actually has a pleasant aftertaste.

I saw these advertised somewhere and when I heard the name, being the joker I am (having a childish sense of humour), had to get them for the children... Anyway, I kept the kids in suspense about this chocolate, working up to thinking it would taste nothing like its name, but thinking more like Belgium chocolate. When they arrived, the kids loved the name and all sort of jokes where flying around the house, but to actually taste the chocolate, was nothing special, in my opinion. Plus I over looked that they had caramel centres, which my daughter is none to keen on. Overall, they are mildly pleasant, but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to buy again. Hence the 3 stars. Costs wise also justifies the stars as I also wouldn't pay that price for something that taste mediocre.

Bought as a fun stocking filler at Christmas. Not the kind of chocolate we're perhaps used to in the UK as it lacked the depth of flavour and bitterness

Brilliant name. Makes a funny stocking filler and also tastes great.

Shipping was great, came in fast and perfect! I like it better than other caramel candy bars, these weren't overly sweet like the others, but still a bit on the sweetly harsh side for me!
