I bought this for a friend when he was already going through a hard time, and then the carafe of his coffeemaker shattered. He was already stressed with what he had going on in life, and then had to deal with cleaning up shattered glass with multiple cats in the house, plus the stress of not having caffeine anymore. I told him to breathe, get the glass cleaned up, and not worry about the coffee pot. I ordered this coffeemaker for him and it showed up one day later. He thought I was just going to replace the glass carafe. But this coffeemaker was priced right about how much it would have cost to replace that glass carafe. So I just got him a whole new coffeemaker. He was super excited, infinitely grateful, and kept me on the phone as he cleaned the new pot and everything to get ready to use it. He talked about how simple it all seemed, how it didn't have a dozen buttons to confuse him, and it was simply what he needed. He said it's just plain a good coffeemaker. He has different shifts throughout the week, so it didn't make sense to get him one with a timer. He was thrilled that it was all he needed and nothing else. 10/10 Would gift to a depressed friend again!

Does exactly what it is designed to do. The pot is especially good because you can pour quickly without dribbling.

I only just got it but love it. They're isn't any hissing,dripping, or spilling all over the counter when you pour a cup of coffee. The last coffee pot did all of that. It's hot and doesn't take up to much space like some other ones do. More counter space. Personally, I do love the shape and size of it. But that's a preference thing.

Works great, very straight forward by having just an on/off button. Average size and easy to clean. Only wish it would turn off automatically. I wanted a very basic coffee maker, which this is. However, the auto turn off not being a feature on this is a bummer.

We bought this September 2024 and now as of August 9, 2026 it finally died. We used it every day for almost two years, sometimes more than once a day. Never had any problems whatsoever! This would last longer if we didn’t use it so much but we’re so thankful for it!

I bought this coffee make in November 2024. It was fine until a couple of months ago. First, it stopped brewing, so, I brewed the coffee by the pour method, and this morning, the turn on switch no longer works, very disappointing. When you turn on the switch, a light goes on to show you that the coffee pot will start brewing and the plate will get hot. So now, I need to buy a new coffee maker.

Perfect coffee pot. Turn on; turn off. Everything is so complicated these days. All this will do is make a great pot of coffee!

It lasted a good 20 months before it exploded. Since I guess it lasts on average 8 months, I'm gonna be generous and give it 4 stars. Pikachuuuu!

I've owned fancy coffee making machines with confusing displays at a high cost and will never go back. These simple Black+Decker coffee machines are perfect. They're also durable and don't have the malfunctioning problems like these "fancy" coffee machines that are over-designed with technological components that fail far too soon. I've seen these simple coffee machines last longer than the Keurig's and Cusinart machines in office spaces where multiple people have to operate the machine to make their coffee. The price is dirt cheap but you get an old school reliable coffee making machine that not only does the job perfectly every time, but is simple to operate and lasts. I not only highly recommend this product but also the Black+Decker coffee grinder as well. Imagine spending $200 on a Cuisinart coffee machine that doesn't even burr your coffee beans, but then you could buy this coffee machine and their coffee grinder and pay less than half the price and less hassle. I swear by this coffee machine and highly recommend it.

STOP BUYING EXPENSIVE COFFEE POTS!!! I was tired of spending $80+ once a year on a coffee pot that would only last a year and had special screws so that you couldn't get in and clean the water pipes inside that so easily clogged. Just think of the crap your coffee water is being filtered through before making your coffee. I'm so angry, those screws should be illegal. This coffee pot is just a simple, manual machine that would make coffee fast. Forget throwing so much money away so you can set a clock to have coffee for the morning. You can pour the water and put the grinds in the night before then simply click it on in the morning or spend one minute doing it in the morning and have your coffee faster than you can finish your morning bathroom routine. I'm angry at these companies that deliberately put those screws there to deliberately (uhum) screw you to get more money from you. So what if you spend a few days to get your perfect coffee flavour, you generally have to do that with any pot. I did have to use a bit more coffee with this one because it pours so fast - or maybe it's simply because it's a 12 cup pot instead of the 10 cup I was using. I also had x3 thermos coffee pots from the more expensive machines so I simply pour the coffee into one and voila !! Hot coffee for the day without the burn. THANK YOU 'BLACK and DECKER' for this cost-saving "Easy Pour, Non-Drip Carafe with Removable Filter Basket" product. I actually didn't check the type of screws on this one, yet - I'm still too angry about them, but I hope you think about normal ones if you're using those 'screwy' ones. Give the consumer a chance to drink clean water by letting us clean those pipes inside. I guarantee you'll increase sales on any of your coffee pots if you advertise that ability to always drink clean water with 'Black and Decker' products!

nuevo sistema interior de goteo que me gusto mas que el sistema tradicional ya que moja de manera mas rapida todo el cafe que esta en el filtro, mu practica y facil de usar, queda el cafe a gusto de cada quien.
