OK most of my plates are cap standard olimpic and for the most part they are ok. but i have been looking for a nice set of bumper plates for a while and just could not see myself spending 400+ for a seti ended up chatching these plates on sale for less than a 1.00 a pound and with free amazon shiping. now i knew it would take a few weeks to get and todayy i got the first pair the 25 lbs plates in time for me to swap out my standard plates. the rubber smell was there but not too strong and was gone in an hour. the plates them self are perfect and are very accurate. i have 2 x 10 15 25 35 and 45's comeing. and should have the rest of them tomarrow...awsome set exspecialy if ya have prime and free shiping wish i had bought the 55's as well as now they are 149 instead of 109. Saturday got the 10's 15's and the 35's all nice. the rubber smell is a little stronger now that i have 8 plates but it will fade. only thing is one of the 35's the printing / paint ect... if flakeing off but for the price i will use it till it all comes off and i will just use a stemcil and repaint it. other wise i love these plates should have the 45's on tuesday

First of all, took a week to lose most of their strong rubber smell. I think after 2 weeks there was no more noticeable smell.I was worried about how accurate the weights were but the price made me willing to take a risk. I weighed them on a scale and they were surprisingly accurate. Nothing crazy but non of my 6 pairs were more than 2% off from their listed weight. The worst one was a 55lb plate weighing 54.0lbs. So from my small sample size, they are accurate enough for the price.

I was concerned that it may not be good quality, or bend but no, these are excellent and value for money!

Bought 260lbs set, not disappointed at all.Amazing deal at $1 per pound. The weights looks good and are well constructed.Many reviews mention a smell, and I agree there is one. Its mostly faded after a week but the rubber does have an odor. It's not a deal breaker, especially in a basement or garage, but don't be surprised. The rubber coating is nice otherwise.The plates themselves are thick. I think it's pretty standard but these aren't thin steel plates. The thickness may limit the amount of weight you can load on your mounts. As an example, my cable system can only fit about 220 of the 260. Smaller home machines might struggle to load adequate weight, depending on your strength and experience.

He's work perfectly in my home gym. I have hardwood floors so I wanted the rubber plates. They're not too bulky but they work perfectly for my home gym. I would definitely recommend. Great for the price

I have used these extensively and I love them. I will get more.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought these 3 times now via Amazon.2x the 160lbs package & now the 210lbs package.They are simple, low to medium bounce.True to weight & have held up well.***note, they are garage kept but I use them outdoors in parks/beaches & some minor rust has shown up. Still worth it in my opinion.I also have the "high bounce" versions & these appear to be more durable, for now. Similar (very) to the CAP brand.
