A really fun and clever take on diy candles. Made them with my little cousins and we had tons of fun. The idea of using tons of tiny wax beads in a jar similar to sand is a really clever craft to do with kids and unlike normal candle making the lack of heat really makes it easier to do at the cottage. The candles burned really well considering and the kids had a ton of fun customizing their respective candles with the various coloured wax. I highly recommend this!

This candle kit is great, I just wish it had some sort of scent to it, or a way to add a scent to the sand. The colors are fun to work with, but without scent I don't want to burn it because it only smells like wax.

This set comes with seven colors of small sandy wax. You can easily pour the wax into the candle holders and make fun effects. I am an adult and had a lot of fun making them

I just started candlemaking and my kids wanted to help. I got this set so they can do it while I worked on mine. It’s absolutely easy to do. It does require some supervision because the little wax balls can get any everywhere if you don’t keep an eye on them, definitely set out some papers on the surface that you’re making them so that they can be easily poured into the container if they spill this is extremely easy to do an absolutely fun my kids loved this activity and requested I buy another. highly recommend.

We didn't have super fancy patterns, but I still really like how they turned out. They weren't difficult to make, and I like that we didn't have to melt them to set them up. All we had to do was light the candles, and they melted the beads on top so that the wax had a nice little cap to hold the lower beads in place. I recommend these candles! It's a fun and safe activity!

These candles were such a fun activity for my 4 year old. He needed help with them but it was easy for him to figure out how to put the candle sand in the glass bottles and we had a lot left over to make a few smaller ones. There was no scent, which was perfect and they turned out so cute. He ended up taking some of the leftover wax 'sand' and adding it to his sandbox to play in. The texture is really unique and was fun to experiment with.

I got this because I thought my husband and I could do it for a date night activity. I thought he was going to think it was cheesy but we did enjoy ourselves. We were able to talk and build a candle that we lit for dinner. I had a lot of fun. I believe he did too because he asked if we could do it again or get another activity that allowed us to bond like how we did. It really doesn't take much to bond with your partner. I didn't realize that until we got this and had an amazing time with just the two of us.
