I paired this with the  FLS-PP Dresden Elektronic Ballast  to work with my Phillips Hue system, since the Phillips Hue Lightstrips were too friggin expensive. With this and the ballast, I get an extra ten feet of LED lights for nearly the same price.I set it up easily enough. There are solder/cutting points every 5 inches or so, takes time to solder if you want to split it into a lot of parts for a complex lighting setup, so be prepared to spend an hour or so on it if so.Color-wise, it's not bad, but the white channel is too domineering! It's basically bright white with a hint of whatever color it is you're wanting. Lots of lumens if you want it. If you want it to match the color and intensity of the Hue lightstrips, or want more...hue, then don't connect the white wire to the ballast or whatever control you're using. You'll get a pretty close match.Oh, and the adhesive backing is about 20 times better than the Hue lightstrip's.

The picture description said these are 24V/12V. Some LED strips will run with reduced light output at 12V. This is not one of those strips. When delivered, the foil package states 24V, 10W/m, 5m length. So the entire strip should draw about 50W, or a little over 2A at 24V. I wish the description had laid that out explicitly. My application would have been fine with only half the strip (25W).I didn't bother measuring current draw, but the full strip choked a 24V/1.5A supply (it ran the strip as a strobe). They are quite bright, but you'll need 24V, and you'll need at least 2A. They work fine as a strobe light, so probably dimmable as well.

Easy to install with the right set up. lights are flexible and easy to adhere to the edges.

They were good for a few days and after that you I had to do an exorcism on the wire bending it multiple directions and zip tying it for the light to stay on. The problem is where the plug in wire meets the actual lightning strip, have it zip tied super tight at a 90 degree angle to keep the lights on. Meh overall.

Used these for 3D lithophanes. Worked out great. Only issue is that the adhesive strip doesn’t like to stick too well. Other then that worked perfectly.

It came in a small package but it was nicely packed, very easy to use, it has a very good quality material.I put it behind my tv and it sticked perfectly.Overall I am happy with the purchase

This light strip looks great: the warm white is very pleasing and I'm happy that it's there. The other colors are nice and saturated as well.I found the strip to have good adhesion. We have this on drywall upside down at parts and it held fine.We have a lot of controllers / power supplies around for strip lights but make sure you have them as they are not included with this.

I had to invert wire to use my wifi controller with my other led kit, color are not exact. But works well :/
