Move over coffee, you have some competition.
I am a coffee addddddddiiiict but my health is forcing me in every way to give it up. First sip of this tea and I knew I had a replacement I could live with for my 10 day detox. Sixteen days later and I haven't missed my coffee at all. Hot or cold, latte or just plain this is everything I love about coffee with none of the negative side affects. I can drink a cup or two a night and sleep like... Well sleep as well as a mother of four can sleep, but you get the idea. I rarely write reviews but I had to review this because it blew me away. I guess the best testament to my enjoyment of this tea is that after 16 days without coffee I brewed myself a cup this morning and after two drinks I dumped it out and brewed a cup of this tea... I can't believe I just wrote that but it's 100 percent true. All you coffee junkies (like I was) probably think someone paid me to say that and while I wish they paid me in this tea I'm sadly not funded in any way, shape or form. This is my honest review. Just try it. You will see what I'm talking about.

Caution...Autoimmune and neuropathy related...tea may be a trigger
I am giving this 1 star only so it gets read....this tea tastes amazing. I cannot have caffeine, or coffee due to autoimmune atrophic gastritis, which led to small fiber neuropathy. Something in this tea badly triggered the neuropathy pain, and severely irritated my stomach. I only added pure coconut cream and coconut sugar. Now with swelling hands and feet and nerve flare up and intense stomach pain after the 3rd cup, have cancelled my order for the 25 serving box. Too bad, I really enjoyed it. I hope this helps someone.

Tastes like coffee without the side effects
I love Teeccino because caffeine gives me heart palpitations and the acid upsets my stomach and triggers bladder pain and spasms. This is both caffeine free and non-acidic. It's a great alternative for those with health issues. I do not care for the other flavors as much (I tried a variety pack), but French Roast tastes like coffee and is very dark; it pairs well with creamer. Just fix it the same way you would prepare coffee. I bought some for a friend who recently quit coffee and she loves it. The fact that it's organic can make a nice gift for clean eaters. I hope these come in K-cups soon. In the meantime, I find the tea bags more convenient than the grounds, as I don't typically consume more than one cup a day.

Excellent coffee substitute!
Wow! Another coffee devotee here, who also buys fair trade coffee from local roasters, uses a burr grinder, etc. I feel like I am copying the review below mine, except I can't really have caffeine after about noon. Now, of course this *isn't* coffee, but it for sure scratches the same itch. We got the French Roast and it is very rich and very dark with a nice full bodied feel to it. I've been having a cup after dinner to help myself avoid dessert and it is working really well! Would be delicious with cream or sweetener but I have been enjoying mine black. Also the teabags are enormous so you really can get a big, strong cup of brew. At first we balked at the price but we will buy again, for sure. For what it's worth, I also enjoy the Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma but it isn't nearly so much like coffee as this brand is.

Wonderful coffee substitute
My elderly mother, who is a lifelong coffee drinker, was advised by her doctor to stop drinking coffee. After trying numerous coffee substitutes (none of which tasted like coffee though some were quite tasty), I found a Teeccino sampler pack in a local specialty grocer. While the hazelnut and chocolate flavors were good, the french roast and vanilla nut were hands down our favorites. The french roast is the only coffee substitute I have tried that actually smells and tastes like real coffee. My mom actually prefers it to even cold brew coffee. The vanilla nut brewed at double strength is a good iced coffee substitute. Only complaint I have with Teeccino is with the packaging of the teabags and the teabags themselves. The teabags are very flimsy. The strings frequently tear thru the edge of the teabag when being lifted out of prepared cup of tea (even after steeping for only 3 minutes). The teabags are sleeved individually which is convenient if one wants to take some to work, etc.; but make sure you shake the teabags down before tearing open the paper sleeves or you might end up tearing right thru the teabag as well. I use silicon toaster tongs to remove the saturated teabags because I have had too many strings tear off and I have had a few teabag bottoms tear open from the weight of the saturated tea. While Teeccino is more expensive than most organic or specialty teas, it is well worth the cost in my opinion.

Love the taste! Packaging/design needs improvement.
I have been using this as a caffeine-free alternative to coffee for a couple of years. I like the flavor. I usually add honey and an almond and/or oat milk creamer. Some reviewers have stated it is too weak for their tastes. It was for mine, too, until I started using the "10/10" method. After adding boiling water, I dunk the bag ten times, and I let it steep for 10 minutes. I have not found it to be bitter after using it that way.My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are all due to the packaging.- The string/bag attachment is weak. The string is easy to snap off when trying to "milk" the bag either in the cup by holding the string and pressing the bag against the cup's side with a spoon, or by wrapping the string around the bag on a spoon to squeeze out a little extra flavor. The string often comes right off, especially when the bag is hot.- The bag is easy to accidentally tear when opening the individual packets, causing the product to leak out into the water when steeping.- In my opinion, the bag is put into the individual packets upside down, so that, when you hold the packet end designed to tear open and shake the bag like many tea-drinkers do, you are actually shaking the product to the TOP of the tea bag, not the bottom.- The flimsy box that holds the 25 packets has been damaged more than half the time upon arrival to my house. None of the packets inside has ever been damaged, however. Those flaws are minor nuisances, and I continue to use this product.
