Smart Plug Works with Alexa, Mini Outlet, No Hub Required, WiFi Wireless Remote Control Light Switch Socket, ETL listed White Kuled (Smart plug 4pack)

During the several months that I have owned these plugs I have returned and replaced a couple of them due to connectivity issues during the Amazon 30 day return and exchange period. They would simply stop connecting to wifi. I believe that I have a total of eight of them.Well, now I have one that will turn a floor lamp off and on without me prompting it. It would be kind of cool if I wanted a light show, but sitting here in the dark while waiting for it to turn itself back on again, well, that's kind of irritating.I will now replace them with a different brand as they fail.

Why pay $$$ at a retail store when you can get these. Using the associated Tuya Smart app you can control easily and integrate with Alexa. Works great, use for lamps .. basically replacing several mechanical lamp timers. Through the app, you can control each individually, or create a "group" for all so everything goes on/off at once. The app has a timer function, so, it's basically just like an old mechanical timer .. but way better. Great value.

I purchased a set of 4 plugs in June of 2018. They installed and worked fine with Alexa till now. Recently, Alexa would not connect to them. I had set them up using the Kuled Android app. I tried to reinstall them once again using the same app, but, without success. The app just would not connect or set them up. I downloaded the Tuya app, which I noticed was more recently updated, and used it to reinstall the plugs. This worked and Alexa is now happy. If you run into sudden connection failures, I'd recommend you try usingn the Tuya app instead.

The sockets constantly click on and off the wifi connection (everything else connects with no problem). Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't.

The outlets are a little to round and could take up the second plug on your outlet. Wish I would have picked the square one instead. Very easy to sync and use with the Echo Dot. You have to download their app first then link Alexa and Tuya Smart together and works like a charm.

So far these have worked as expected. Easy setup and work like like they should.

They seem to disconnect occasionally, and instructions aren't very clear on the app. Good for the price, and if you're a techy person... Not recommended for the casual user.

I loved them so much I ended up getting four smart plugs. This was 45 days ago. Then they stopped working, all at once, and I've wasted too much time trying to get Alexa to reconnect. "(Tuya) isn't responding. Please check network connection and power supply." Turns out I'm not the only one with this problem.
