Good item
Found this very useful especially the voice enhancement. A few problems sorting the the volume on the TV. Disappointed that unable to get the rechargeable battery in the U.K. which would improve it's versatility

For US market not UK
Do not buy as this is for the US market not UK and does not come with adaptors. Reported to Amazon twice.

Perfect for elderly people. Noticeable lag.
Sounds good, Can be pretty loud while still sounding good. Perfect for elderly people because they have direct control of the sound, and the sound coming right next to them instead of having the TV blaring across the room. It has a noticeable enough lag so there's an echo if you use it at the same time as the TV speakers. But by itself, it works really well.

Wonderful speaker system!
I was really excited to get this speaker and I am happy to say that it has completely met my expectations. I received a refurbished unit that, except for a couple of really light surface scratches, looks and functions as good as new. Unit feels solid and well built. Setup was quick and easy, and pairing two cell phones, as well as the included AptX low latency transmitter, was no problem at all. The remote control is a nice feature, although I would have preferred the bass and treble adjustments be located on the speaker itself and not just on the remote. I also would have preferred music controls (play, pause, forward, back) on the unit or remote, but I knew going in that this product did not have those features, as it's geared towards TV use, not computer or phone use. I have had no problems with devices staying paired, and no issues with skips or dropouts in the bluetooth audio. The LEDs on the unit are easily seen but not obnoxiously bright.Sound quality is high on this unit for being a portable bluetooth speaker. Bass is present and average for speakers of this size and wattage, and met my expectations. If you're looking for punchy or boosted bass, this may not be the unit for you. The TV mode setting is also a nice feature, as it delivers on its promise to provide clear speech and tv dialog. I don't use this so much when watching TV, but it's absolutely fantastic for listening to podcasts! The music setting is great for everything else, including video games. Most importantly, there is no static or noise coming through these speakers. I have had countless audio products in the past that produce static and noise because of the power source, poor wiring, poor electronics, poor quality amplifiers, etc. When silence is playing through this speaker, silence is what you get!I would definitely recommend this speaker to others.

so glad we found this speaker
So glad manufacturer makes this product! Mom's wireless TV speakers from 10 years ago broke and we were desperate to find a replacement. Set up is as described in instructions, sound quality is good, volume knob is easy to use, remote works well.

my soundbar interfered with this device.
got this in today and set up the components with power to the speaker and the transmitter. the docs said to hit /pair/ on the speaker and /pair/ on the transmitter and the blue lights would blink on each device. pretty standard stuff (far from my first rodeo setting up a/v components) except the transmitter blue light only blinked once when i hit the /pair/ button and then went off. but it was attempting to pair because the tv (sony android) popped up the /add a device/ screen. i declined this the 3 times it asked, but it wouldn't pair with the speaker.next, i tried actually pairing it to the tv. still no help. then i tried turning the tv off entirely in case it was capturing the bluetooth signal and keeping the speaker from pairing. but even when off, the tv woke up and asked me if i wanted to pair. the only thing i didn't try was to turn off bluetooth entirely on the tv because i got frustrated and boxed everything back up.more anomalies were: my iphone can see the speaker request, but not the transmitter. the tv can see the transmitter, but not the speaker. also, there is a badly explained /bluetooth/ button on the speaker alongside the /pair/ button. the docs seem to indicate it might change devices if you have it paired to more than one device. in any case i pressed it too and in combination with the /pair/ button, but nothing.naturally, the company is closed until tuesday and they have bankers hours and only 4 days a week. nice if you can get it. i think i'll just box it back up and let amazon refund my money if no one here suggests anything in the meantime. the only thing i can think of to try that i didn't was to turn off /bluetooth/ on the tv, but i don't hold out much hope for that and in any case i'd have to haul it all out again to set that up.tia for any help, i tried to ask it as a question, but got errors. /guy*** [i changed my rating to a '4' because someone from the company came on here on a saturday night and tried to help and indeed i did get it paired. but connected to my sony tv or my dish hopper 3 via optical it only yielded mortorboating sounds out the speaker. i did get it to work if i turned off the sony soundbar, but obviously i'm not going to leave my soundbar off to use a remote speaker. i will say the sound was very clear, and although the volume would have sufficed for my purposes, it wasn't a powerhouse rattle-the-wall sound. returning it to amazon for a refund and i'll explore other options.]

Broken
I initially loved this speaker. I put it next to the couch, where I watch television. I was able to here the television above the household noise. The television does not disturb others in the household. However the speaker is now malfunctioning the sound cuts in and out. I changed the cord that connects the television to the wifi device but it didn't help. Not worth the money if it doesn't last.
