Born in the USA

Fabulous album. Almost every track could be a single.The sound on this remaster is excellent. I have found, in the past, Springsteen's vocals to be rather buried in the mix on some albums. On this remaster all is nice and clear.

This album is how I like to hear Bruce Springsteen sound, singing loud and proud and rocking.The only Bruce Springsteen album I previously bought was his "Greatest Hits" compilation and although I pretty much liked this it's been a long time before considering buying any Bruce, because sometimes I found his voice a little on the mumbling side particularly on the less rocky tracks. But I did note that all my favourite Bruce tracks on the "Greatest Hits" came from this album, these being "Born In The USA", "Dancing In The Dark" and "Glory Days", so I thought OK let's give this album a go.I'm glad I did, from the opening "Born In The USA" through to the 11th track "Dancing In The Dark" it's all great rock 'n' roll. The 12th track "My Hometown" closes the album with a good ballad performance that is sung well and is a nice wind down ending to a very fine album.At some point I will now probably reconsider buying more Bruce after hearing this album, but I have the feeling that this one is going to be hard to top.

This album has a few different Genre,s I love the songs Dancing in the Dark, Born in the USA and album track Cover me is pretty good Listening Glory days is also Amazing too.

Often viewed as the definitive Springsteen CD based on the " Born in the USA track". Having been brought up on the protest songs of Dylan , I came to the Boss late in life. Another protest singer - actually listen to some of his lyrics carefully it is not a praise to the American way of life ( as Sprinsteen had to point out to Ronnie Reagan) - then enjoy the music as well.There are so many Springsteen CD's now. Whether you collect them all or check out the double CD "best of" I leave to you but do at least listen closely to this CD

I've been a Bruce fan all my life as I grew up listening to him because my Dad is a fan. But only within the last couple of years have I really started listening to his albums. I hadn't heard this album all the way through until Hard Rock Calling 2013 when Bruce sang the entire album. It was amazing, and I couldn't get 'I'm Goin' Down' out of my head since watching the film 'Springsteen and I'. It's a great album and I understand why it's one of his most popular. I don't think you have to be a fan to like this album, as I've caught my partner humming along once or twice! Every track is great.

I bought this album to replace my original vinyl one which I have lost in the midst of moves and travels over the years. I first originally bought this in the eighties as a teenager(one of my first purchases with my first wage), and what can I say WOW, still as I remember, good rocking rifts, meanigful lyrics and it was amazing how all those things also buried in the memories from those teenage years came flooding back. Already looking through the sellers inventory to see if there are any more of my long lost albums available. Delivery was quick, good price, and the actual case and insert in almost pristine condition many thanks.

I ordered a used Springsteen CD. It was in excellent condition. I was very pleasantly surprised as I had not ordered any used CD's previously. It exceeded my expectations.
