Topwit 1.6L Electric Pot, Stainless Steel Ramen Cooker with Steamer

BUY IT! I never write reviews. I own 4 of these. For home, office, my dad's place, and a backup. It's how I eat healthy. You can steam fresh veggies from a bag and fresh chicken for about 30 min and have a healthy meal anytime. Grill your chicken in advance and refrigerate it; you can cut the cook time down to 15 minutes. It steams leftover steak and fish to taste like freshly cooked. Throw in a cup of parboiled rice or cut up a sweet potato (if not on a low-carb diet), and you're done. Buy it and use it! This thing will change your life for the better! I can't think of anything else I've ever bought for under 50 bucks that has made such a difference.

I freaking use this thing to cook everything that will fit and even caught myself trimming meat to fit in it. It cooks pretty good it's got two heat settings "hot and I'm assuming Hell" just last night I made "drop in the pot stew" started by sauteing garlic and butter from a cold pot and I but a dab of butter in and added garlic , and turned on low, and almost instantaneously i heard butter starting to sizzle, (so be sure keep constantly stirring if applicable), it's not coated with anything, it's just stainless steel or something like that but no ceramic. But it will clean up fairly easily, I mean you don't need no heavy equipment or anything just the basic dish cleaning accoutrements. I do recommend it though it's a pretty good pot that heats very quickly and it's actually built pretty good! Also makes a pretty good and fast, cheeseburgers, thinking about cutting a London broil in half sear it up , dump in onions, cream of bacon and cream of celery soup chicken broth and let it cook til time to add a few baby red potatoes till tender, unplug , grab a cold beer , head out on deck and enjoy it with high definition mother nature, eat and reboot ....cheer's

Edit: It’s the next morning since my initial review, and I had to update from 5 stars to 4 stars because I made steel cut oats this morning and HOLY MOLY did they stick! It’s gonna be a nightmare to get this cleaned up. I definitely think this thing is probably better for making wet stuff like soups or hot pot, or for steaming. Anything starchy has the potential to stick. My rice last night stuck a little, but those steel cut oats browned on one side of the pot and stuck badly. That said, I still really love this pot. I just won’t use it to make anything that will stick in it. Original Review: I’ve LITERALLY had this product for ten minutes. I checked the time I received the email saying it was delivered. My rice is already boiling. I took the time to unbox it, give it an initial wash, plug it in, open a new bag of rice, wash the rice until the water ran clear, put it in the cooker, and add water. I turned it on high, and it’s already boiling! I just can’t believe it! I turned it down just now to level 1 from level 2. Let’s see how well it works. But from my initial impression, I’m super impressed! It’s cute, sturdy, the steamer basket fits nicely. I’ll update this review if something goes wrong, but so far, so good!

Use daily as my facial steamer and humidifier. Very nice and very durable. Easy to clean.

Fast hot water, be prepared with all ingredients and enjoy.👍

I do not use this to cook food. My husband bought this for me so I can make a fresh hot cup of tea at work. I add milk, water, tea powder and spices. Keep on low for a few minutes and let it boil and voila. Fresh hot tea is ready. The temperature gets noce and hot. I take it home, soak water in it and it is easy to clean. But I haven’t used this for anything else so cannot comment on that.

I used this pot over a year, it’s good for boiling eggs but I don’t recommend it for thick soups or meats, it heats more on one side, sticks without oil, and then it stopped working after smells of burning wires 😱

I ordered this a month ago, and it works great so far. It's small but makes more than enough food for one person. So far, I've made pasta, rice, steamed corn on a cob, steamed veggies, and boiled eggs repeatedly, and they all turned out great. Every time I fry something, the pot automatically turns off and on to keep it from burning. I would appreciate this feature, except sometimes it takes a while to turn back on. The manual instructed me to fix this in case it happens, but it still serves as an inconvenience. Another trouble is the cleaning/washing. The instructions say to keep the outside of the pot dry, which is counterintuitive. I wash the inside only and avoid the part where you insert the plug, but I can't confidently say that no water has spilled onto the outside while washing. The last thing that bothered me was that one part of the pot got hotter than the other. I know this may happen to most (if not all) hot pots, but if I happen to fry something, it'll make a burn mark on that one side, which is tough to clean later. Overall, it works great, my food is delicious, and I'm not mad.

Works like a charm and heats up fast. Have to be careful washing it, but avoiding getting the components wet in case of electrical malfunction can be a bit tricky. I'm pretty careful, but it can be easy enough to let water get into where it shouldn't on this thing. Overall, it's a great, functional product for a single person cooking quick and easy meals or just simply heating up some leftovers.

So far so good. I love the convenience of it. I work from home and wanted one for my office. It does not disappoint. Very easy to clean. Comes to a boil quite rapidly and keeps food hot. I like to make my ramen and let it sit for a minute or two and it loses no heat with the lid on and the power off. Highly recommend. Comes with a nice little recipe book as well.
