I needed business casual shoes for work. I have small, wide feet and I also injured my foot a few months back. I needed to keep that in consideration as I was shopping for shoes. I know that Clarks make a good, quality shoe, so I gave these a try. I ordered a 6wide. I should have ordered a 5.5wide. The width was great, but the length was just a tad big. I kept them and make sure to wear thicker socks with them. Great shoe otherwise. Cute and comfy. Now I know to order that half size down if I get a wide shoe.

[EDIT]: THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE IN THE WORLD!!! My review just changed to a 5 star from a 3 star. Once I got the right size (which still baffles me that I needed a W), I’ve been wearing these non-stop! I even took them on vacation to NYC (where you walk A LOT), and never once did they hurt my feet after a full 12+ hours of walking and being on my feet!! They took about a couple weeks to truly break in, but once they did...oh my gosh!! I can’t tell you how awesome these shoes are!!! They’re like butter...I’m so not kidding!! I have been used to a slip on shoe for YEARS, so the only annoying thing to me is that you have to physically put them on and take them off. But it’s WELL worth it because you never really want to take them off!! They have a side zipper, which adds to the cuteness, and a nice sized heel, which isn’t overly big or small!! I’m only 5’0, so it adds the perfect amount of height!! Below is my original review, but I’ve edited because it was necessary to tell you how much I love these shoes!!!So I’m a solid 8 M normally. I’ve never had to buy a wide shoe! I was SO excited about these shoes, also them being Clark’s, that I put away my old shoes the minute I received them. I wore them for one day and the tops were so tight, it was getting seriously annoying! By the end of the day, I had to unzip the side zipper just to make it home! I decided to return these and get an 8 W. So I’m currently waiting on those. I’m hoping that they’re comfortable enough to start out with that as the breaking in occurs, they’ll get even better. I couldn’t even imagine the 8 M breaking in enough to make them comfortable! If the 8 W’s don’t fit well like the M’s, then I’ll just try another shoe and just be bummed about it! I do fly a lot, and when I do, my feet tend to swell a bit. I couldn’t even imagine what these would feel like if my feet were a tad swollen! Especially when they were so tight across the top when my feet were normal to begin with! Anyway, I’ll update my review if the W’s fit well. Otherwise, just beware of them being a tad tight/small across the top!

Nice shoe and very comfortable, but does run narrow. The interesting thing is these feel tight (narrow) when I put them on, but never pinch or rub my feet as I walk in them. I have literally walked 1-2 miles in them at one time, and they’re about as comfortable to walk in as my tennis shoes. I just cannot wear anything but a thin dress sock with them.

Looks good dressed up or business casual. Comfortable right out of the box and through a 12+ hour day. Clarks make a durable product. Easy to clean. A worthwhile purchase that lasts years.

I think they are true to size, my wife's feet are inbetween 9.5 and 10 so they have a bit of slack which is ok since her feet are wide. She's made them her everyday shoes doesn't care for socks and I haven't heard any complaints about her chronic foot pain

I work for the majority of my day, on my feet. These shoes are comfortable and fashionable. I love the Clark's brand.

Shoe is narrower than previous version and does not fit well anymore. I measured it, it is 0.3 inches narrower than prior version I bought.

These are wide enough in the toe box fir comfort while still appearing streamlined and elegant. They fit snuggly in the heel. The soles made of firm rubber, so it cushions the footpad as you walk. The design features are understated and elegant. The finish on the leather is smooth and consistent throughout. They’re easy to get on and off. I’m getting used to the higher heel, since I usually wear flats, but I feel well dressed in these. I walked with them on to go shopping the first day and had no foot or knee pain.
