The thing works well and is long enough to cover the entire bottom of a US standard exterior door. The plastic Velcro strips they send include instructions to nail tacks into the strip to keep it from being removed over time. They tell you to put them where the door closes, and I was worried the tacks would affect how the door closed, but it actually has worked well. It doesn't close quite so easily as it once did, but it also has a lot firmer seal at the bottom instead of a big gap opening into my garage!

This is a heavy been filled doorstop. It really seems to be good quality. It keeps the cool air in and the hot air out. It also keeps the bugs from entering under small cracks. I bought 2 of these. One for front door and another for the back. It hangs on the door knob nicely, which if good because if it's down the door doesn't open easily from outside. It's made of nice material. I would buy again and recommend. You can tape it up but I found no need to.

I purchased these for several doors where cold air was coming in. They worked great at blocking the cold air this winter. Used one for under the fireplace insert when not in use. Made a huge difference to the draft coming through on windy days. Well made. Does the job. Have recommended to family members. Would buy again.
