🥰IN ABSOLUTE LOVE!!!!
Ok…so I’m not sure if you all remember the BRACH’s bins that use to be somewhere in your local grocery stores…I think the last time I seen one was maybe in the early to mid 90s???But each bin had a specific BRACH’s candy in it, i.e. one had butterscotch discs, another had star peppermint chocolates, another had their flavored caramels that were wrapped in pretty colored foil papers, they also had these neopolitan squares(that had a layer of pink, then white & then chocolate coconut chewy type of candy)….BUT then they had the bin w/their DELICIOUSLY HEAVENLY JELLY NOUGATS!!!lol!!!these things were & in my opinion-still one of thee BEST all time candies made EVERRRRR!!!!& the cool thing about these bins was that they had an honor system, where you could put a quarter in the little provided metal/tin box & pick any 3 candies you wanted…& needless to say I would beg my mom or grandparents for their pocket change & go to town on that JELLY NOUGAT BIN!!!!🤣lol!!!Now I read some of your reviews & how you were disappointed that this was not that BRACH’s candy…& yes it’s true they are NOT!!!They actually don’t make any longer😢CRYING SHAME…if u ask me!!!!Now onto the taste….these do taste similar & ABSOLUTELY remind of them-to me their still are FREAKIN DELICIOUS….YUMMMY…WANT THEM LIKE ALL THE TIME!!!but I instead of the nougat texture it’s more of a marshmallowy nougatty texture!!!Ive bought these over 5x now!!!& i am picky bout my candy n sensitive bout my issshhhh!!!lol!!!please do not deny yourself these YUMMY A** TREATs!!!!get em!!!if you like DOTS & marshmallowy things-you’ll LOVE these!!!!

Glad I found them
Not the original kind I remember, but still pretty good.

They still make these the same as in the 60s!
I can remember when I was younger, Sear’s and Roebuck store, in the shopping mall, had a really wonderful candy counter. You could buy them by the pound. Plus other delicious items, Brachs chocolate stars, chocolate covered peanuts or raisins, many other things as well. I always wanted to get the chocolate covered sponge cake squares, but had to defer to the group. But yes these jelly nougat pieces are amazing!

It's a texture thing
This candy doesn't have a lot of flavor but I love the chewy texture. It is definitely not sweet and the tropical flavor is barely there. The texture is amazing. If you like the original flavor and want to try this for the flavor, I wouldn't bother. Just stick with the original.

Yummy
The only thing wrong with this is that it hard to leave along.
