This is a well designed and sturdy/steady walker. The weak point seems to be the brakes which failed after only eight months of indoor use on hardwood floors. The wire inside the brake cables was completely frayed. The parts, including the brakes, are only covered for six months but the company quickly mails replacement parts and they are not too expensive. The brakes would probably last longer if being used outdoors where they aren't used as often (i.e. every few feet).

I had this walker sent to my 89-year-old mother back in Ohio; I live in California. When the walker arrived and was put together, the rear wheels were defective. I contacted the company and initially was told I'd have to go back through Amazon. I returned the walker and wrote a very unflattering review. A couple of days later, I was contacted by the Director of Customer Service at Journey Health and Lifestyle, the company that makes the walker. I was just astounded by how genuinely caring and understanding the Director of Customer Service was about the terrible inconvenience this situation caused my 89-year-old mother and me. Even more astounding was her total willingness to set this matter straight for us. Through UPS overnight service, she sent my mother a new walker that was even more accommodating to her height than the first walker and contacted me via email several times with information about the progress and tracking information of the new shipment. I highly recommend Journey Health and Lifestyle for your medical mobility needs; they produce very quality products at competitive prices. Most of all, they genuinely strive to satisfy their customers by making a sincere effort to meet their medical mobility needs. They are "real" and empathetic human beings. They REALLY CARE!

Almost perfect! I can walk much further, faster and more comfortably now. After 10 weeks of using it, I am much stronger and walking with much less pain. It feels very stable and I can adjust it to my height. I love the way the wheels rotate for great maneuverability, getting on and off elevators, etc. I took off a star for one reason. The bag works fine when you have the upwalker totally open for use, but when you need to fold it the bag has to come off. Still, this has been a gamechanger for me. I'm 78 and have severe arthritis, and I can walk much farther than I have in years. Also, I can look people in the face instead of up and sideways like Igor characters.

this walker is perfect for a small framed short person. I'm less than 5ft tall, most all the upright walkers I tried were to heavy or the handles did come down low enough for me. this one was perfect! I really like it a lot, easy enough to fold & lift into the back seat or the back of my golf cart. Unfortunately I had to send it back as my insurance wouldn't help with the cost & I couldn't afford the almost $300. ( apparently medicare won't pay for online purchases even though I have a supplement... anyway my advice here is to make sure you can be reimbursed!
