Impressed so far. This is a good value, simple fan. It was pretty easy to put together, only difficulty was loosening the tiny screw and bolt in the grill. It looks smart, like the finish on it. People complaining about its noise.. its a fan, it makes a bit of noise, especially at full pelt, but even that isn't too bad and it doesn't need to be on that strong anyway. If you expect it to be silent you'll be disappointed, go buy a super expensive thing instead. Its powerful and quiet enough on the lowest setting to cool a smallish room while watching tv or sleeping and it not be disruptive.

First of all, I was almost put off of this fan with the negative reviews about how loud it was. Well let me tell you, it’s a lot quieter than my portable air con unit I had, and that used to run at 69dB. This fan gives a great cooling breeze and has a few features such as sleep mode/natural breeze mode, timer, and 3 speed settings. The wireless control is definitely a winner when in bed and wanting to turn it on/off!Only down side is, it’s a little shorter than I thought, but apart from that, it’s solid and looks better than some other cheaper variants.Glad I spent a little more buying this one and ignoring the negative reviews!

Firstly I would like to state that I wanted a powerful fan with remote functionality. After searching through Amazon/Argos/Currys, I decided to go for this one as the reviews said it was powerful. It didn't have a picture of what the remote but thought I'd take a risk (I found other fans where the remote looked extremely cheap and tacky).The fan arrived today and as I opened the box, I noticed there were a couple of the parts not in their plastic covering (they were at the bottom of the box). I also realised that I had 3 of the same remote controls? Very strange...Anyway I decided to assembly the fan and this was extremely straight forward. I noticed the large blade was smaller than I expected in comparison to my old fan. There is a review out there that states it's not sturdy, I would partially agree with this however it's sturdy enough.Once it was assembled, I went to plug it in and realised there's no plug head! Just a cable with 2 inner cables there. I decided to search the box and found nothing. Luckily my old fan broke and I used the plug from there and switched it on.The fan is powerful with 3 speed settings and perfect for my needs. When the fan is on, it's stable and does shake around. There is a setting for natural wind (cycles through the speeds) and sleep mode (again it cycles through the speeds), to be honestly I don't see the difference between them. I thought the sleep mode would be slower than speed 1 so it would be quieter but it's not. There is also a timer setting which I will definitely use for night time.The decided to put some batteries into the remote and test it (2 x AAA needed). The remote actually looks pretty good compared to the tacky ones supplied with other brands. It uses infared and has quite a good range. On the side of the fan, there is a hook you can pull down to place the remote on. I have actually put one remote there as I have 3...Overall, the fan is great, the build quality is what you'd expect for the money and it's powerful! It is a bit noisy so if you're someone who wants a fan on whilst sleeping and you normally have to sleep in silence, this is not the fan for you.I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact I got 3 x remotes and no plug, to be honest it seems like the box had been opened and resealed although the plastic covering on the main unit looked untouched. I did not decide to change it for another as the condition looks new and it works!

Double bladed fan that pushes out more air than any other pedestal fan I've ever used. Great range of air too. Flexibility with oscillation and positioning. Could be a little taller, but not a problem in height. Normally quiet too, for a bladed fan - I was expecting it to be louder. Remote control is effective and especially useful if you aren't within reach of the fan physically - I thought it might be a bit of a gimmick but it has proved useful. Solidly build and very easy to assemble. Great product and worth every penny. If you can't afford an air con unit, this fan is the next best thing for sure!

I did my research and this product faired well in the reviews and has satisfied me also!The small, yet powerful fan is simple to build (under 5minutes) and has two handy heights, desk height is perfect for a small room. The strong weighted base is much sturdier than the standard 3/4 leg design. Although more expensive, this is a quality product with 3 years warranty. The black is stylish and its effective at circulating air and with the higher powered motor its still reasonably quiet. Thank you!

When You have the Fan set on 1 Slow Speed the Fan Clicks ,when You adjust the fan head to blow Air in a 90 degree Angle ( pointing more into the Air) it Clicks loader.I made sure the isolating button was not stuck but Still ClicksNot sure if I would Recommend this fanToday i have Put This Fan in the bin because it has failed I opened it up to see what the clicking was but could not find the Problem then the fan stopped working I opened the switch and found a burn mark on the Circuit board on close look I noticed the was a burnt out Coil so it wasn't practical to repair this even if you replace the coil, which I don't have, It still might not work so I have cut my losses and put this experience as a one of those things, I think the componence in this fan far are cheap andthis throw away world this is the problem with most electrical equipment Now i look for another fan.But this time i want a fan called Blue Ice, I have had one of these before and not had any Major problems but i couldn't get this blue ice fan earlier.Would I recommend this Bionaire High Performance Stand Fan, Silver NO I am very disappointed

Personally I don’t think it is any noisier than any other fan I’ve owned over the years, however it’s output for the same noise is significantly more! Does a real good job of blowing the air about and find it very good on level two. Level three is pretty immense but it is arguably quite loud, saying that though I’ve had no problem falling to sleep with it on. The remote is very simple and effective and the whole package looks good.

DerStandventlator ist wie beschriebensehr geräuscharm, so dass er auch nach längere Laufzeit als nicht störend empfunden wird. Ein Manko ist nur der Anschluß. Da das Produkt im ausland gefertigt wurde benötigt ma einen adapter oder es muß ein anderer Stecker angebaut werden. Somit sind haqndwerliche Fähigkeiten auf dem Gebiet der Elektrik gefragt.
