MAXPOWER Adjustable Offset Hex Wrench, 12 Inch, Red, Cast Iron

These pipe wrenches are simply amazing, especially when working with 1-inch or bigger fittings. They made very quick work of disassembling and reassembling a series of very snug large brass pipes and fixtures. They appear to be well built and they certainly look and feel heavy duty.

Just as good as the name brand at a favorable cost. Works good for commercial Sloan valve repairs.

Great pipe wrench, but after a few months the rod holding everything together fell out and I lost it so I had to weld a rod to the pipe wrench. Besides that, it's a great tool for the money. Anyone that I let use it while were working always makes positive comments about it.

Maxpower continues to impress me with their tools. This is yet another product that I've purchased from them that has more than exceeded my expectations. Everything I've purchaded from them including this tool have been very good considering their value price point. They could quite possibly be the proverbial "diamond in the coal" of the tool industry. Surprisingly good quality and I don't say that lightly! I honestly didn't expect their products to be as good as they are considering the price point. Buy with confidence! I know I'll be getting more from them.

Does it's job, it's a little flimsy and feels cheap but I can't complain much for the price. I would buy it again if I had to but I prefer the Ridged brand version more. Overall I'm happy with the tool for the price point.

PROS -heavy duty -self-adjusting grip on pipes -long, cast-iron, handle (will take a lot of abuse on the job), gives lots of leverage -sharp teeth in the jaws -decent value (compares well to more expensive brands) CONS -really quite heavy (all that iron) -the spring is strong, but I fear it will not last all that long, as it looks quite lightweight. NOTES -it leaves teeth marks on whatever you’re tightening/loosening (typical of this type of wrench) MY STAR RATINGS: 1* substandard, mostly cons 2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros 3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros 4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons 5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros
